Phil Long Toyota, Trinidad, Co provides excellent customer service and their Service Department and Service Rep Alex is very knowledgeable and also very good to explain what has been done to my car. I would highly recommend the Service Department.

Phil Long Toyota, Trinidad, Colorado

A small piece of weatherstripping had come off the roof of the cab of my 2017 Tacoma and they wanted $80 for a one inch by 3 foot piece of rubber weatherstripping and $300 to put it on the cab. I told them that was unreasonable and I didn't want it. I had the 35k service which included a tire rotation and inspection. When I picked up the vehicle and was looking at the receipt for the charges and noticed a charge of $11.90 without any explanation. When I asked what this was the nice young service man behind the counter kind of stammered trying to come up with an explanation and when he was unable to answer my question he called over his sales mgr who said that they tacked on extra charges to cover things like shop supplies and rags to wipe down the dirty vehicles. I asked him if he would like it if after a meal in a restaurant he found an unidentified charge of $11.90 on his ticket and when asked about it was told that the restaurant tacked that unidentified charge on all their bills to cover their costs of napkins and toilet paper? Whether he appreciated the logic of my comment, or if it was their policy to deduct that unauthorized charge from customers who complained I don't know but he made a big show of telling the service tech to deduct the unauthorized charge in such a manner like I should get down on my knees and be eternally grateful for the rest of my life. This customer doesn't like being treated like this.

Service/Recall Maintenance Item

Customer Service was very friendly and helpful. Repair/Maintenance was friendly, answered all my questions, explained all services provided due to recall item, and check vehicle for normal fluid levels and recommendations. Very happy with this store and service they provided with big smiles!!!!

Car Service

I give Phil Long in Trinidad five stars for its presentation and service. Indeed, it is the best car dealer in Southern Colorado. Phil Long provides the best car service I have had. The employees are very friendly and polite. The Service Manager, Mr. Joe Camarillo, is genuinely nice and caring for his customers. The waiting area is spacious, very neat, and clean with a section for coffee and snack, Wi-Fi's, then relaxing area with nice cushion sofa. I did not feel "waiting time" when I was waiting for my car to get fixed. Feeling comfortable and trust is very important when we are shopping for a car at dealers. I saw couple of my neighbors buying cars there also. I recommend everyone to check out Phil Long in Trinidad whenever you need service or buy a car.
