Staff is very polite and helpful. The car buying process is east. When we went there the greeted well and showed the car. Test drive was good.

Ask for Kisty Rose in sales
Kisty R. was my extraordinary salesperson who patiently worked with me for over two weeks with calls and emails and successfully sold me my brand new lagoon blue 2020 Crosstrek Hybrid. I love the car and wish Subaru would offer a plug-in option for the Ascent. I flew in all the way from Colorado because Rocky Mountain region is not getting any inventory of the hybrids. Buying from Oregon a no sales tax state still means I have to pay sales tax based on my home state sales tax rate. Chris C. in finance was very competent with the paperwork because he had previous experience in other states. Overall I am truly impressed by Capitol Subaru they even donated a portion of the proceeds to a non-profit foundation and gave me a super cozy blanket. This is my fourth Subaru purchase and I’m already thinking about coming back to buy another Subaru from Kisty because of her excellent service. Capitol is lucky to have employees like her!

I dont feel like I was the most pleasant person to sell a car to but Kisty Rose keeps insisting otherwise. Kisty and her sales manager have booth been in contact with me after my Outback purchase. The level of customer service I have received even weeks after my purchase is world class. Kisty made sure I was pleased with every aspect of my purchase and did a fantastic job making sure all the pieces fell into place perfectly. Thank you Kisty!

SCANDALOUS AND GREEDY EMPLOYEES
Your employees try to bleed customers dry and when they realize we are not going to purchase all the extras they kill the deal. On May 28th, I spent several hours trying to purchase a new vehicle. The salesman (CASEY) would not shave $200 off the price to fit our budget, but we went to a different dealership (royal moore) on the same day we were able to save almost $2,000 for the exact same vehicle, brand new. We purchase the same vehicle from Royal Moore for $1,800 less then Capital Subaru's final offer so I guess I am grateful that your salesmen are so inept. The same day, Duane Beaty contacted me to apologize and gave me a free oil change. Yesterday (June 8th) I decided to give your dealership a 2nd chance for a used vehicle. Once again, they became extremely agitated when I refused to spend an extra $2,500 on all your extras. The salesman (MATTHEW) told us the vehicle came with a warranty, but in the final stages of the sale he said he made a mistake and no warranty was offered. It was clear, they pulled the warranty and killed the deal because we refused to buy all the extras, and they also would not give us anything for our trade in....not even $50. I know its an old vehicle but come on, not even $50. VERY SCANDALOUS!!

Look no further ,Pleasant exeperice all way!
What a pleasant car buying experience . We worked with Andrew today and I have to tell you Capitol, you are so lucky to have someone like Andrew on your sales staff. His demeanor and his knowledge of the cars were A . We opted to to look , test drive, and finally purchase an outback and Andrew helped us every step of the way with no ‘pushy sales’, what a great guy! This certainly wasn’t our first car buying experience but I must say it was by far our best! Kudos to Chris in finance as well , he was a one man show this evening , but despite us being there a bit late he spent the time to cover all the details afforded us through the financing and registration process , even making a last minute change for me to upgrade to different plates. If you are shopping around like we did with several other dealerships , give Andrew a shout and I guarantee he will not disappoint , so look no further. Thanks guys , appreciate all you did

Alex Iker is an AWESOME sales representative
We had the most pleasurable experience buying our Subaru Crosstrek last Sunday because of Alex Iker. His knowledge of Subaru's is quite impressive. He listened to our financing needs and helped us to achieve the deal we wanted. He went above and beyond the call of duty in showing us all the fun safety features on our new car. He even took the time to set up our phones! We will highly recommend Capitol Subaru and Alex!

Great sales person
I stopped by 12/31 to check out my options for a new car. Salesman Jeremiah Bergstad seemed to intuitively know to stress the safety features of the Crosstrek and provided me with not only a salesman's point of view but also from the perspective of a mechanic, which I appreciated. I feel he did an excellent job demonstrating the safety features of the car. He seemed to really know his product.

Potential Buyer Beware--Bait and Switch
We had an 11 am appointment today to see a very specific model. We were told it was available, and we went prepared to buy. We drove the 75 miles to get there, arriving about 10 minutes early. Before we even got in the door, we were told the car we came to buy was reserved for someone else. Apparently, it had never actually been available for sale. When we questioned why we had been told it was available, the response was that the sales staff didn't know when a car had been reserved for some one. Really? But they knew when we got there? No problem we were told, another of the exact same model was on its way. And if we didn't like that one (i.e., color), the dealership would find us one and get it to us. Turns out, the one coming wasn't the same model at all. And another of the same was possibly available in Washington state, but they'd get back to us. Eight hours later, we're still waiting for word--not even a "sorry we're not hearing anything." I wish I had read the other review on here stating that they had received the same treatment. A car was promised, but after a long drive there the car wasn't available because it had been sold to someone else. It would have saved us a 150 mile round trip drive and 3.5 hours today. The attitude seemed to be that if they got you in the door they'd sell you something, no matter what they promised. We won't be back. This dealer can't be trusted.

Skip it and go up the road
After buying a vehicle here about 18 months ago, I have had several problems over the last year. It’s been very difficult to get my calls returned when I’ve left messages about installing a remote start and messages about my extended warranty. Only once were any of my calls returned. While this is annoying, it’s not largest grievance. When my car hit around 10k miles (still brand new right?) the AC stopped working. After a trip to their service department (Nick is great) they fixed it in a few days and sent me on my way. Then after a few days it broke again. Trip two to the shop and they fixed it again. Then after a few weeks it broke again. Trip three to the shop and they are now “fixing” it again. Idk why they can’t seem to fix it correctly, but making this many trips to the dealership is crazy. Oh, and both time they have me loaners the insides were crazy dirty and the one I have now I drove about six miles before the fuel light came on. Do they not clean and gas up the loaners in between giving them out? Tl;dr - good at selling cars, bad at returning calls, bad at fixing your new car, bad at giving out clean and gassed up loaners.

You may end up getting sued!
I am being sued, my credit score has dropped over 100 points, and they have not done a xxxx thing to even try to work it out with me! Worst customer service ever!! Never, I repeat, NEVER buy a vehicle from this dealership. They say things will go one way then do them the exact opposite. They said the credit checks would be soft checks and would not go on my credit. I have 5 hard checks on my credit from them trying to find a loan. We traded in a vehicle and we put money down by doing a couple payments. They forgot to charge the last payment of the down payment and they did not pay off the traded in vehicle for over 2 months after we no longer had it. Yeah guess who got knocked on his credit for 60 day late payments on a vehicle he thought would've been payed off immediately!! But, once they found out they didnt get THEIR last payement, I got one letter in the mail that I wasn't even able to respond to before they sent it off to a collections agency. They sure as xxxx picked a great collections place too. Just got served a letter saying we are being sued by the place for the money that was not taken out by the dealer plus a laundry list of fees for the cost to sue us. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER!! You will regret it!! Worst car dealership in the country! I'd rather buy a car from Harvey Weinstein. He is more trustworthy than this place. Yes, I am putting this review everywhere I can! I feel I must warn everyone who will listen!
