Toyota Poway Service terrific. Sales— disappointed

Always been very satisfied with the service dept. Mike Lewis is terrific. He goes the extra mile; he pays attention to details; he explains clearly. Sales is another story— but no need to repeat it here. An unfortunate experience a year and and a half ago….but I’ve already given those details in aprevious review.

Great customer service.

Came in for maintenance. The person who made my appointment, Tatiana, gave me one the same day. My service person, Nick was thorough in his explanations. I know he’s customer service oriented after watching him calmly and patiently deal with an irate customer. The only person who seem to not be very helpful was the person who came up to the cars. He couldn’t find my appointment and he said you don’t have one. And left it at that without giving me options. I c I called Tatiana myself and she helped me again.

Use another dealer ….

Toyota of poway is everything you don’t like in a car dealership ……. From bait and switch salesman , to finance not honoring a signed contract agreed upon by both parties …… shady …… Toyota is a good product , use another dealer .

The very best Toyota dealership for maintenance a.

We have received consistently great service from our service advisor, Mike Lewis. He always lets us know what we can expect and which of the recommended services are most crucial to keep our vehicle in good repair. He makes recommendations without being pushy, and allows us time to make informed decisions. Mike has excellent customer service skills, and is always friendly and kind.

Makes false promises

Me and my husband bought a used car from here and was told they would reupholster our back seats cause there was holes and seats were burnt from the sun we were actually promised and it's been 4 months and they lied they had no intentions on upholstering our seats they just told us what we wanted to hear just to make a sale and 3 days after we bought the car it wouldn't start they left a bad battery in our car and had to purchase one at our expense mind you the charged us over $10.000 dollars and I don't think it's no where near that price I wanted to return it my husband didn't cause we needed a second car becareful for the money hungry dealership that makes false promises and don't do a all point 5 inspection before saleing you a used car.

Toyota Poway the best they do the best with good deals Oscar’ the service man he is the best he give me good deals to do maintenance to my car

What a horrendous experience

What a horrible experience. I did an early bird drop off and when they opened I got the expected phone call. During the call I was given the impression that work which should have been done previously had not been done and I should have it done. On the phone one has no time to research so I agreed, turns out Toyota specifically recommend to NOT do this work on my model of Prius. Then they charged me over $300 for this work, when it turns out it is an easy 20 minute job with less than $40 of materials. All for a job Toyota say NOT to do to my model. Then I picked up my car and I am well on my way driving home when they call me, asking if I can come back because the tech has left a tool in my car. When I say I can pull over and check and can they tell me what tool and where does he think he left it, turns out it is a tool in the underside of the car. I could maybe understand a tool left under the hood, but the underside of the car. So I look for this tool (wasn't there) but I find the old service sticker (the one that they stick in the top corner of the windshield) stuck to the front of my car. Lucky I saw it before it bonded to the paint. What kind of amateurs are these people. I will never go to this place again, even if they were the only place left in Southern California.
