I have been doing business with Michael and Wide World for 30 yrs with both Ferrari and BMW. I also have many friends that now do business with Ferrari because of Michael and his sales and service teams. When you buy or own these kind of cars you need to have a relationship with the dealer and Michael and his team provide that and go the extra mile to help you enjoy your car. Over the years the dealership has grown but not lost the personal feeling. My new Ferrari will arrive next month and I look forward to my new car and my experiences with my friends at Wide World.

After being being poorly treated at Westchester BMW (made me wait around for over an hour, mind you I had an appointment, they didn't want to listen to what I wanted in a vehicle, instead wanted to sell me what they had on the lot, and pricing was well higher then what Edmunds suggested I pay) I was refered by a girlfriend to call Ben Batista at Wide World of Cars. She herself leased a car from Mr. Batista to whom she was refered to him by a co-worker. I made an appointment to see Ben on a saturday afternoon, when I got to the dealership Ben advised me that he had two clients ahead of me and that he may be a little while longer. After waiting almost an hour (I'm thinking to myself, here we go again another wasted visit with another typical car salesman) Ben comes over to us and apologizes for the wait, and offers us a test drive. (which we were not offered at Westchester BMW) After the test drive I tell Ben what I want in my 525xi, he imforms me that he doesn't have that car on the lot but he would be more then happy to locate one for me. To make a long story short Ben was able to find the car from another retailer, gave me the price I wanted and treated me with respect and honesty. When a woman visits a car dealership most salesmen will either not listen to what you want or try to take advantage of you when it comes to pricing, but at Wide World of cars thats not the case. Throughout this whole car buying experience with Ben I was feeling this is too good to be true(are car salesmen really this genuine?,everything was so professional, they went out of there way to get my car from another dealer at no extra charge, gave me the price I wanted and even delivered the car to my home in Westchester county)now 3 months later I have my new BMW everything was delivered as promised so I felt obligated to commend Ben and the entire staff at Wide World of cars.

I came to Wide World cause someone said they were better than Park Ave. Wrong! My red brake light was on. YOu would think it an easy job, but this asian service person was sooo rude. He kept saying no, no, no to everything I asked. I wanted to knock him out. I kept calling all day adn he wouldnt take the call. I finally showed up to pick up the car. He charged me $1200 (Which was $300 more than he quoted me!) I had to talk to the manager who didnt budge. ALl that and the car wasnt washed. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DRIVE UP TO NY FOR CRAPPY SERVICE.

Hands down this is THE WORSE, most unprofessional, dealership I have EVER encountered in my 15+ years of buying cars.

I wasted 3 weeks going back-and-forth with emails negotiating on a car I was interested in. After first giving me an astronomical price quote, and then egregiously marking up the money factor on the lease, I gave up negotiations.

Hoping to deal with a better salesman, I paid them a visit (they are almost an hour away from me) only to find out from another salesperson that the car I was trying to buy NEVER EXISTED! They never had that color combo to begin with, despite the fact that Michael Rutledge assured me they had TWO of those same cars IN STOCK! (a direct quote from one of Mr. Rutledge's emails; "I just took in another one, which is beautiful")

I feel very bad for the two previous reviewers that gave wide world straight 5's on their reviews; they either got ripped off without knowing it, or (most likely) are fake reviews written by wide world employees to begin with.

do yourself a favor and buy your car from ANYONE but these clowns.
