US-1 Automaxx

Worst experience. I have never written a bad review for any business in my life, but this place, US1automaxx (auto hacks) is awful and should be ashamed of themselves. They took advantage of my wife and daughter who drove almost an hour and a half to purchase a 2018 Kia Soul. I spoke to the Manager Shawn on the phone and he assured me that the vehicle was in near perfect shape. When they arrived he said "we just put a new battery in for you but the guys broke the positive terminal fuse" "the car still works fine and we are gonna fix the mistake" They drive the car home and the next day I began detailing the car. I quickly noticed ALL 4 TIRES are DRY ROTTED. I contacted Shawn. He was nice enough on the phone and assure me they were not in cahoots with the inspection station because I couldn't understand how it ever passed inspection. He told me some line about them having to use a different inspection station from a list given by the state police so they couldn't develop relationships with the inspectors. That was a lie. We were told they were sending a check for the tires. Weeks passed no check arrives. It was supposed to be $350. Wasn't even gonna cover the tires completely but that is what we agreed to. After getting a hold of them they advised me to return to the inspection station an hour and half away and they would replace the tires. I contacted the inspection station and it sounded like I was calling a 3rd world country. They passed the phone around. They said they had to look for the tires. No way I'm going to them to replace the tires they said were good in the first place. More time passes and no battery part has arrived. I contacted them because the vehicle won't pass MD inspection as the faulty battery is sending a code that stays illuminated. And MORE... the battery that was placed in the vehicle at by the dealership was way too small, barely covered the battery pan, and because of this was free floating and not fastened in place. We just had to go spend $225 on the correct battery. They assured me the part was in the mail. That's was a lie. We went to KIA and they said this is a $400 part. US1AutoHacks said it was a $30 part. I contacted the Virginia State Police who said that this place has been on their radar for a while. They advised me not to shop there. Lesson learned. But this is far from over. We are going to make sure the public knows about this place, and their dishonest practices. They will get on here and try to explain away the situation so I'm providing some photo evidence as to my statement. I have video that won't load on this sight but will share to other platforms. Buyer beware of US1autohacks. Below you will find conversations between the manager Shawn and I. it doesn't seem to match up with the lies Mr Zee is trying to come up with. We didn't want to accept the battery part??? Check the messages below. You guys are awful. Hate that it's come to this.

Got a 2015 KIA OPTIMA from US1AUTOMAXX. The process was very easy. Mr. Zee, Kelly and Jeff were all very helpful and very friendly and made me feel welcome. Will definitely tell friends and family to buy from here!

Honest dealer! Upfront with a carfax report without even asking to be requested. They even went to the extent of delivering my vehicle straight to my home as I had to return back home with my rental. Definitely coming back for my second car. Thank you Mr. Zee!

Very friendly people! They helped me and family with our first family SUV! They show you the carfax upfront without even asking. Before we even visited to see the vehicle, they facetimed with us to do a virtual test drive. I believe they really care about there customer's very heartwarming vibes with them.

I went to this location looking for a quality vehicle for my granddaughter and the exp was more than I expected there was a Gentleman by the name of Zia he was very patient and he explained to me things that I did not know about car buying..In short the vehicle that was purchased 8 months ago has made my granddaughter very happy and that is what makes me smile...Great place

The dealership is small compared to the lots in the area but they have really great deals. The price of the vehicles were marked incredibly low and it had caught my attention to stop by. They have a sign that says most cars under $5000. I bought a commuter car for my daughter for school and work. They look like hard working people and without hesitation they offered me a extended warranty along with my car. They cared for my family and I look forward to my next purchase very soon! Thank you Mr. Zee and your son is a gentleman for making my daughters car sparkle! Highly recommend them!
