I went in to have a repair done on my car that i had purchased there previously only to find out the problem was me. After a chuckle Amanda and I discussed... a vehicle on the showroom floor. After a few minutes she showed me a car outside that was better suited for my needs. Two hours later Amanda was removing my things into a new car for me..AMAZING!!!
I have purchased 9 cars from John Warne, over the past 14 years, and have had a great buying and service experience every time. Now, my son and daughter... are customers. The purchase process is simple, financing done in minutes (always looking for the best interest rate) and if you need service -never a problem. John Warne and his staff prepare a quality product to go out the door and take care of you after the sale. I don't bother to look anywhere else when I need a vehicle. I can't say enough good things about this dealership.
Purchased my car there few months ago. They took the time and effort to go out of their way to help me. Staff was professional and courteous. I’ll be sure... to pass around the word.
Most horrible experience I ever had with a dealer. Sold me a messed up vehicle and would not pay for the repairs even with a 3 month warranty. Was treated... disrespectfully and I would stay as far away as possible. Would never recommend to anyone.
If I may ask, did you ever call and set up any appointments to have this vehicle looked at, there has never been 1 time that we have not looked at any... vehicle that we sold that may have an issue. If you could contact us, we would be more than willing to discuss a solution. We do try our best to resolve any issues, and do offer the 3 month/ 3,000 mile warranty, with a loaner car if needed. I have even taken calls from my personal number and answered on weekends, evenings and never leave someone unanswered and try my best. If you feel you were disrespected by anyone, I would like to take the opportunity to apologize to you, that is never our intention to make anyone feel such a way.
Bought a 10-year-old Chevy Prizm at the dealership. 7+ years later, we are still driving the car after more than 100,000 miles (about 150K total). Now,... it has rust issues and is burning oil, but it has never let us sit and it's had very few repairs. At the end of the day, this was a good purchase. Oh also, I drove more than 200 miles for the car (so the price was very good compared to others) and everything was taken care of at the dealership in about 30 min.
Found a truck online at this dealership and made a deal by phone with the owner's daughter, Amanda. She was terrific. I was arranging my financing and... was assured by Amanda that there was no need to send any money yet (I offered to send $2K upfront) as she would make certain the truck would not get sold out from under me in the meantime. I wanted to believe her but, after lining up my financing through USAA, I called the next day and spoke to John Warne himself. Amanda was not in but, after he learned who I was and why I was calling, he smugly said, "I sold that truck today." I was stunned. I paused and said, "You're kidding, right?" He said, "Nope. Some guy drove up from Missouri and had the money so I sold it." I explained we had a deal and he just chuckled and said, "You hadn't bought it yet. I'm not going to hold it if somebody shows up with the money to buy it." This guy is the living personna of the stereotypical used car dealer we all witnessed in cartoons growing up. Don't trust these people. If you live out of the area (I am in CO) and can't show up immediately in person to take delivery, be prepared o get screwed if someone does show up after you already have struck a deal. Complete lack of integrity. There are far too many good dealers out there and online to use this one. Amanda seemed terrific but, apparently, Dad does whatever he chooses. A very poor way to run a business in 2018 in the age of social media and internet purchases, in my opinion. Look elsewhere!
I emailed about a car ,they responded by the next morning, we discussed shipping options and I asked because of the average price across the US for this... vehicle was lower than their price, if they could take some off . They wanted 8995 for a vehicle I was seeing with less miles selling for as low as the $6500 range. I expressed that and asked if they could do a little better on the price. The person said they would call back the next day with a shipping quote and total. But they never called again, which actually was great cause I got another car with 24000 miles with leather seats and options a year newer with a brand new set of tires put on it,out of texas and paid less to ship it and purchase it by almost $1000 . So will I call them again since im looking for another one of these vehicles? Probably not.
Dear Kansas, Good morning to you! I was the person that you talked to about this vehicle 12 days ago. I did in fact call a local towing company to ge...t a quote and never heard back from them. At that point, I forgot to call you back and will from this point on make a better effort and be more conscious of time for our customers to better serve their needs.I am disappointed in the review, but having reviews makes me aware of the things I can do to improve in my customer service in our family business. I can't express how disappointed I am in myself Kansas, but I am really sorry! Thank you for giving us the opportunity, I hope that if you do find another vehicle we have that my be appealing to your needs, that you might give us another chance. All my best in your new purchase, Amanda Warne John Warne Motors
I expect to recieve an answer if car is sold or not.
If I may be bold as to ask what vehicle you were looking at. I am the person that responds to the emails from cars.com, and I would be more than happy..., at all time, from whatever state you live, to help you. We pride ourselves for respecting our customers and if I missed an email, I apologize and would love to resolve any issue you may have. Thank you for your time and please feel free to check with us, I might still have the car.
I bought a lime green Ford Fiesta from John Warne Motors when I totaled my Nissan back in April. It was the best car buying experience I think someone... could have. I worked with Amanda and she is so passionate about her job and really loves to help and made the whole experience fun which I never thought could be possible, but it made a made a bad situation so much easier! I sent in an email of interest, went to check out the car the same day to give it a test drive, Amanda had to Carfax ready for me when I got there. The next day I went in and signed all the paperwork, after my brother came in and checked the car out... the purchase process went so flawlessly and I left with my new (used) car! It came with only one key fob but John Warne had me come in the day after to get another key made for me for free. I would honestly suggest anyone who is looking for a used car to go to John Warne Motors, it is definitely NOT the nightmare you imagine when you think about buying a car.
