I already had an appointment with another dealer to

I already had an appointment with another dealer to purchase a F150. I stopped by Rod Baker Ford since it's on the way and wanted to know if they can beat the out the door price I had for the packages I wanted. They did so fairly quickly by removing dealer options I did not want. The entire process went smoothly. I did have to go back because the tie down cleats were missing in my truck, but they got those to me quickly.

We saw the vehicle we wanted on the internet at a very

We saw the vehicle we wanted on the internet at a very competitive price at Rod Baker Ford and called. Matthew Pollock provided the information and verified the price and said that there was one additional cost for a dealer installed piece of equipment. This price was actually less than other dealers in the northwestern part of Chicago land and a local dealer that we first visited that ended up misleading us on the phone on their internet price. We went to the dealership and they honored the price. They also provided a fair price for our trade in after some negotiations. Matthew was very pleasant to work with, very straight forward, and helpful. We would recommend him to our family and friends and appreciate that the dealership did not put a misleading price on their website.

There is alot of people who may say good or bad, so ill

There is alot of people who may say good or bad, so ill just give you the exact details of my experience and you be the judge of it: I went for a coolant leak, which was obvious, pointing out to them the exact location where it was dripping, telling them to look and do it thru warranty, they came out saying it is not covered because it is just a hose and were charging me 550 for a hose replacement mind you on top of the coolant system. i checked that hose was completely dry (no idea how they did a pressure check and saw coolant leaking and then it got dried in a matter of minutes), i told them no it is not that and i need to talk to warranty. they still charged me 100 for diagnostic even thought i pointed what i need and didnt need their diagnostic. At the same appt i asked them to do a differential fluid change they said 198$ when done it turned into 245 guving me the xx that they need to use different fluid and this is why it is more. Any way the idiot who handled it it all is Patrick shampine, so if you have alot of $ to throw away go see them.
