My husband and I just purchased a 2024 rline tiguan from Steete Ponte VW. Savon, Sales and Todd Crandall were excellent. Very helpful, transparent & honest.

I would not recommend buying a VW as the rear brakes do

I would not recommend buying a VW as the rear brakes do not seem to hold up like they should , 32,000 miles and I had to put rear brake pads and rotors on our vehicle, it was in there 3100 mi ago for a 30,000 mi service and supposedly they change the brake fluid LOL and they never said a word about the rear brakes being extremely low , I've contacted VW and apparently they don't care either, so we are planning on buying a different brand vehicle at this point this year!! And anyone that has a taos knows that they downshift going down a hill or coming up to a stop sign so you have very little brake usage !!

I recently had purchased an Audi from Steet Ponte

I recently had purchased an Audi from Steet Ponte Volkswagen through Tony, and he made such a stressful process a breeze. He was super straight forward and easy to get into contact with, even on his days off! We have had very bad experiences with dealerships in surrounding areas, so coming here lifted a weight off of our shoulders. Their finance team was super easy to work with, very understanding, and overall extremely welcoming! I highly recommend Steet Ponte VW and their team!

Very unhappy

Bought an atlas crosssport and am having on going issues with driver door alarming and throwing parking brake on. Been serviced with no resolution multiple times. A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE!!!!

Unfortunately it is out of our control at this point with the latch issue and is in VW's hands. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do either at our VW store or our Toyota store as we understand you have both been in contact with one of our Sales Manager's about options as well.

Not happy

I bought a brand vw jetta a year ago from woman salesperson never heard from her or the dealership how the car was doing.mechanics tell me my new car will burn oil up until 32000 miles that is break in and then I went to a tire rotation that I had scheduled two weeks ago for today the woman tells me it was yesterday she lied. She was very snotty when I left.never again with volkswagon.

What a relief, the search is over

After a 2 week search for a truck with specific features, we found Tony, and was able to find our truck on the very first day we met! He was patient, helpful, and a pleasure to work with in person and over the phone. Tony showed up the following day on his day off to make sure that everything went right, and that we left happy with our new truck! Todd had a great personality, was very thorough, helped us with loan options, warranty, and add ons. We highly recommend Tony and Todd from Steet Ponte VW dealership. Thank you gentlemen for a great experience! We love our truck!

Worst experience ever!!!

I live an hour from the dealership and called and spoke to a salesman about a 2015 Honda Civic they had listed. He told me it comes with 2 sets of tires and would have new brakes all the way around. I get up there and he tells me the woman who traded it in wants the tires back but that he would look into getting me a discount on the car. We take it for a test drive and he mentions that he can hear a noise in the back brakes. He ends up not fulfilling his promise of a discount but I still put a $100 deposit on the car. This was on a Monday afternoon. He told me the car would go into the shop the next morning. He then says to me "the least you will have is new rotors on the front." No mention of on the back. He also tells me he will email me a list of the work the shop did on the car. He never sent it. Thursday morning I email the salesmanager saying I wasn't happy with the way the salesman handled the sale and that I wanted to cancel the sale and wanted my deposit back. The salesman texts me saying his mgr just handed him my email and that the car would be going in the shop that morning. He also tried to guilt me saying he came in special on his day off to make sure the car was ready. I told him I still wanted to cancel the sale and to please let me know when my deposit check would be mailed to me. He never responded. Today is Tuesday and I still haven't received my deposit back. I definitely do not recommend this dealership to anyone!!!

Jason Jones was incredible!

I would recommend buying a car from this dealership only if Jason Jones is the salesmen. His professionalism and attention to detail was incredible. He actually listened to what I wanted and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I can see him running the dealership one day and that would be a good thing.

GM wouldn't honor what service manager promised

Harold Coffin III in service was great. He supported a tire issue we were having with our 2019 Atlas. However, two days later, the manager Edward Jandreau called to let us know that he needed to consult a mechanic (someone who "really knew what they were doing"). After deliberation, Mr. Jandreau called to let us know that he would not be able to honor the warranty that Mr. Coffin had given us two days prior. We have heard the stories about Steet VW, but gave it a try for our first VW purchase. We love our VW Atlas and will certainly purchase another, but it will be from NYE VW of Rome. Our salesman, Jeff Velardi was outstanding, and our service experience thus far has been good (minus the small hiccup of going in for our scheduled oil change, only to be told they were out of oil!). We truly appreciated Harold Coffin III in his attempt to get us to be lifelong Steet customers. Unfortunatley, Mr. Jandreau didn't share his beliefs.

I will not return to this dealership

After choosing my new car on lot. The salesman and I agreed on a final price with the understanding I would return next day to complete sale. This whole process was a complete waste of my time!! 😵 Next day the price we agreed on was not honored!! Additional charges were added to the original agreed price😵 I consider this a deceptive and dishonest business practice! I will not return to this dealership! VERY DISAPPOINTED !!
