No biz w/ Mac Haik DeSoto Tx, EVER AGAIN!

I custom ordered a popular model from the factory, via Mac Haik DeSoto. Throughout the process the sales team assured me the original "sticker price" was solid. I specifically asked about the horror stories of dealers' "add-ons" at exorbitant prices and was assured they didn't do that. They do. At delivery they listed all the unwanted extra equipment they routinely add on as part of their PDI "Dealer Prep", and told us if we didn't want it or didn't pay, they'd sell the custom-ordered vehicle, with a higher mark up, to other customers. The dealer also low-balled the value of my trade by about $5000, compared to another Ford dealership who looked at the same vehicle the same day and offered to purchase it outright at very close to KBB value. The general manager at the dealership refused phone calls. The finance manager provided the documents necessary to complete the purchase (at the post-PDI price) only AFTER collecting all the electronic signatures and appending them to the contracts. And all these "managers" regarded any expression of concern about these business practices as if we were the ones being unreasonable.

Oil Change for my F-150

While I do appreciate the service to my Ford F-150 truck, I was taken aback by the length of time I had to wait. I know there were other customers and the staff was very busy, however, I watched my truck in the garage just sitting there for a period of time when nothing was being done to it.

2022 Ford Edge

We ordered the vehicle and was timely called upon arrival to the dealership. We explained that if there were any issues with financing we were ok to pass on the vehicle. They said there were no issues. However to the contrary we are receiving credit rejection letters from multiple financial institutions. We were never told that they were sending out the application to all of those different companies

Corwin Miles, Service Advisor in the Service Department, always makes sure he thoroughly understands the issue with my Escape when I bring it in for service. Then, when I it is ready, he walks me out to the car and explains what was done and makes sure I am happy with the service I received. Thank you Corwin.

purchase car for daughter

the process of identifying a car and going though the process with the salesman was good. He was polite and and helpful. The process that I was not totally happy with was the underwriter the person who you sign the documents with. My husband and I ended up purchasing a $3500 vehicle protection plan without the understanding that it as not the only option. and adding a lojack contract to our bottom-line cost without without being inform that it was voluntary. I feel like we were misinformed and ended up spending more than we wanted. My advise is to read every page that is m=handed to you and don't feel rushed to sign
