My experience at Volvo Palo Alto was nothing short of

My experience at Volvo Palo Alto was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. We had a confirmed appointment for a specific car with Sohee on a Saturday morning, but upon arrival, we discovered the car we wanted was no longer there. Instead, Sohee offered us a different vehicle that was washed but still wet. While it was similar, it lacked features like the blackout package and Polestar that we were specifically interested in. During our test drive, it became evident that Sohee was not knowledgeable about the vehicle. The side cameras didn’t work, and her explanation that they would function once the car was washed did not inspire confidence. Additionally, there was a strange molding issue between the hood and bumper, which we were told was normal—though it clearly wasn’t. Reluctantly, we purchased the car, trusting that Sohee would handle any issues. However, after several weeks and multiple attempts to schedule service for various problems with the vehicle—including the cameras and more—we were met with terrible customer service. I could not reach the service department by phone, and my text appointment was disregarded when I arrived. Taking the car to SF Volvo, they informed me that Palo Alto should never have sold it to me due to the incorrect part installation and mirror issues. After countless frustrating calls and a visit where I insisted on speaking to someone, I finally connected with Esther Chung, but her responses were unhelpful. I later communicated with David, who promised to look into it, but my car remained in the shop with unresolved issues for over a week. The overall lack of transparency and professionalism from the staff, including the General Manager David Dupart, who has yet to return my calls, has left me with little hope for resolution. My attempts to engage Volvo Corporate have yielded only boilerplate responses, and I feel completely disregarded as a customer. Having purchased numerous vehicles in my lifetime, I can confidently say that my experience at Volvo Palo Alto has been the worst. I will not consider purchasing another Volvo due to this ordeal and strongly advise others to seek alternatives. There are definitely better options out there—save yourself the hassle and frustration!

I wanted to specifically write a review on my experience with Misa Tapia. He went above and beyond to help me with my Volvo car issue. He’s very patient and understanding and made sure that I received excellent service. I can't say enough on how well I was treated.

This dealer is selling a truck with a bad transmission.

This dealer is selling a truck with a bad transmission. When putting the truck into 4 wheel dribe low the transmission grinds and cannot go back into gear. When we discovered this they were surprised. Unfortunately i can see almost a week later it is still offered for sale. Sad they seem to be knowingly try to sell this vehicle as is without disclosure. Someone is going to end up with an unfortunate situation.

Nightmare to happy, happy, happy.

I've purchased many cars for 50+ years, a recent nightmare experience at another dealership left me gun shy. My recent purchase of a 2021 VW Tiguan at Palo Alto Volvo was a joy. Allen Vaught was concerned about my needs and wants. Allen answered all my questions and didn't squeeze me for unwanted add-ons. Allen and others at this dealership made my purchase a positive experience. I recommend this team to anyone asking.
