I visited Harvey Toyota a few weeks ago for a service.

I visited Harvey Toyota a few weeks ago for a service. I have to rave about the super nice young man, Devin that took care of us. It is really nice to have a smiling face walk out to you on a not so pretty day. Devin stayed in contact with us during the service. He is very polite, professional and has wonderful manners. It is nice to see young people in this service area again and ones that actually like to work. We give Devin 1000 stars all around. Thank you for your smile and wonderful compassion for us elders. We will definitely be coming back for his help.

I had my oil changed at John Harvey Toyota in Bossier

I had my oil changed at John Harvey Toyota in Bossier last week and the service department did an awful job! Oil was spewed all under the hood of my car. In addition, they forgot to place the new maintenance sticker in my car windshield. Had to spend time and waste gas going back to pick up new sticker. The service department use to perform outstanding work. Not anymore! I was asked to bring my car back so they could clean all the excess oil off. Causing me to waste time and use gas to return. In addition, when I got home and checked under my hood I noticed my battery cap had been removed. On Wednesday, I was told I had a valve leak. I spoke with the Service Manager David and asked him why wasn’t I told about the valve leak when I had my oil changed and other repairs made last week. David spoke very harsh and unprofessional. He was not kind at all. His tone should have been nicer since it was the service department fault for the substandard work they performed. David stated he didn’t know why I wasn’t told about the valve leak. He did admit it was their fault for the spilled oil. David should have apologized for the lack of service and for my having to return to have the excess oil removed. If I had been a man and not black David would never have spoken to me the way he did. I have had my car serviced at John Harvey Toyota in Bossier for years. However, over the years the service in the maintenance department has deteriorated and fallen way below performance.

After 30 second look at my trade in, offered me $2k.

After 30 second look at my trade in, offered me $2k. I sold it @ KBB price of $7k 4 weeks later. Offered me $500 military discount on phone. Arrived to sign papers and manager said they could not give discount to me.

Disappointment in handling of minor problem

Purchased new vehicle and dealership forgot to put inspection sticker on window. After picking up my registration and tags I was told that they could not put sticker on car but to take it to a place they use and they would reimburse after I turned in receipt; I have yet to hear from them or receive money that I paid for something they should have done. After 2 vehicles in 2 years, I'll not go back

Unprofessional, Dishonest

I brought my car to this dealership when the battery light came on. It turned out that the alternator broke and it was over $800 to fix so I decided to buy another used car instead. I looked at John Harvey, and, at first, Matthias Buechler and Randy Davis(whom we had a connection to) were friendly and helpful. They chose cars and gave me a quote that would fit my budget. I found another car on their website that was listed as the same price as every other car they showed me. Now, I understand that they go down differently on each car, but they did not bring this car down at all except for a discount due to our connection with Randy. When we mentioned the other price they quoted they said "well, that was two cars ago" and were very rude during the entire process of actually discussing numbers and that day of looking at cars. We also know the Mannheim of this car, which was listed thousands of dollars over it. We ended up walking out and looking at other dealerships that were not rude when discussing numbers. A few days later we called about getting the cash for my car. There was no response from Adam Griffin until two days later. When he finally did call back they refused to give cash for my car and said they would only give us money for a trade in. I will never shop or service my car here ever again. The people are rude and do not honor the offers the make you. This is the most dishonest and unprofessional dealership I have ever dealt with. Do not trust anything they tell you. They are only out to make money.

Stay away from this dishonest crooked dealership! I...

Stay away from this dishonest crooked dealership! I signed a 36 month on a 2019 Toyota TRD Sport, John Harvey Toyota in Bossier City LA. I did not know the vehicle had a safety recall or class action lawsuit over a fuel pump issue. Then 6 months into the lease, the truck started sputtering and died on the road. Then at the 9 month mark it started doing it every couple days and dying on the highways, intersections, and on streets. I Took it to dealership for another recall and told Diane and another guy it was unsafe and dying on highways and intersections. She was very rude and condescending and said there was nothing they could do and needed to drive it until it died and wouldn’t start anymore. They said there was no loaner or rental I would get, I would have to figure a replacement out until they figured out how to fix it. They knowingly sent me out in an unsafe vehicle and they knew was dying on highways and intersections. Today it died for good at intersection and had to have it towed to the dealer. I called the dealer, they said it was to late in the day and I’d have to figure out my own transportation, Even though they have a car lot full of cars. 🤯🤬 Then on Monday, they are trying to say it’s fixed but Toyota hasn’t come out with a fix yet, so they are trying to send me away in an unsafe vehicle once again that is stalling out on highways and intersections.

Lily is a rock star

I started the day wanting to test drive 5 different crossovers to narrow down my search. After 2 other dealerships offered one test drive and tried to sell me their brand, Lily offered ALL of them for me to test, saving me time and effort. She listened to what I was trying to accomplish, and made it happen. SOLD!
