Reviews
At first glance, this dealership seems like a reputable place to purchase a vehicle. The process is standard and nothing immediately raises red flags. Unfortunately, our experience shows the complete opposite of this. The primary issue is not just a mistake or a miscommunication. It’s a lack of integrity and accountability from both the salesperson, Mike, and management, Carlos. During the sales process, my partner was explicitly told that GAP insurance was required to finance the vehicle. This is deceptive AND illegal. Also concerning was what happened after the sale. When discrepancies came up regarding what was promised versus what was actually included (specifically around how sales tax would be handled) our attempts to resolve the issue were met with dismissive and unprofessional responses. Instead of addressing the concern, the salesman, Mike, became aggressive and unprofessional. No one is willing to take ownership of this. Everyone is quick to point to documentation, but no one is willing to acknowledge how the deal was actually presented to the customer. This is not a trustworthy dealership. If you’re considering purchasing a vehicle here, I would strongly encourage you to ask very detailed questions, get everything in writing before you agree to anything, and be cautious about verbal assurances. What seems straightforward at first may not be as transparent as it appears. There are plenty of dealerships that operate with honesty and professionalism. Based on our experience, this is not one of them. McClarty Honda, where I bought my vehicle, seems to be a lot more reputable.

When buying a vehicle it all comes down to price. This dealership was willing to work with me; they treated me with respect - which I really appreciate being a woman.

I have never been to Russell Honda before, so this was my first and last visit to this dealership. Upon checking in, I observed the outdated and lack of adequate lighting in the service area. Presentation makes a lasting resonation in a potential customer. There was no modernized technology of photography of your vehicle or receiving a customized video of the service technician explaining every part of your vehicle checked and what was done. This is the type of impeccable service I am accustomed to. Being an integral part of a family business myself, I hold businesses to a greater level of standards n customer service. I reviewed online service coupons, and there was very little patronage for savings, which could deter a potential customer who may be trying to get quality service along with customer rewards. There was a $3 savings on an oil change, and very little savings on other service repairs listed online. Due to the pandemic , customers who may be in a lower income bracket would more than likely not select Russell Honda, due to very minimal customer incentives. The service area is very outdated, immediate renovations would be very welcoming to new customer prospects, along with changing with the times of modern technology (videoing service work, while explaining vehicle repairs done. My vehicle came in with a working part & I found out few days later this part was not working when I got my vehicle back.. This matter was not resolved by Service Management. Service offered to fix the part at my expense. However, since the part was working when I brought it in, I shouldn't be responsible to fix. However, I went ahead and covered the cost of this part within my locality. I left a message for General Manager to follow up with me via telephone. I never received a telephone call from Mr. Jared Russell. I will not be returning to this dealership, because of the unsatisfactory experience & the lack of modern technology to provide text updates & communications while you wait on your vehicle. AB Smith
