FACT: On Sunday, July 22, 2018, I purchased a vehicle from Epovo. While the purchase was an “As-Is” purchase, the vehicle was represented as... successfully passing the Virginia State Vehicle Inspection standards. However, a Virginia State Police report will show the vehicle was illegally given a successfully passing inspection sticker. I now have documentation to support the vehicle had pre-existing issues (Rusted through frame rail, non-functional passenger door handle, Catalytic Converter, and more). On Thursday, July 12, 2018, Epovo was made aware of the vehicle issues by J & L Automotive during the inspection. However, Epovo did not repair the Passenger door handle, the frame rail that was rusted through, malfunctioning Catalytic Converter, and the damaged Engine Mount. These items alone would fail the state vehicle inspection. Some how on Monday, July 16, 2018, the vehicle passes Virginia inspection without having any of the previously mentioned repairs completed. One (Monday, July 23, 2018) to two (Tuesday, July 24, 2018) days after purchasing the vehicle, the Catalytic Converter needed to be replaced, the rotors needed to be replaced, and it was noticed that the passenger door handle didn’t open. It was also noted that there is large amounts of rust under the vehicle, specifically, the rusted through left frame rail. And someone had spray painted the rust with black paint. I had the vehicle inspected in Maryland (Thursday, August 9, 2018) and Virginia (Friday, August 10, 2018), it failed in both states. Citing issues that existed more than 30-day ago. The situation has been very costly because Epovo didn’t repair the vehicle as they are required by law to do before selling it to a customer (46.2-1157) and 46.2.1539). Epovo refuses to admit their deception in selling me this vehicle and refuses to refund me for all of my expenses. I tried to talk to the owner but he didn't "seem" to care if the vehicle illegally passed inspection, he doesn't "seem" to care that the dealer is responsible for repairs prior to selling the vehicle to a customer. He doesn't "seem" to care it is illegal to sell a vehicle to a customer without a legally obtained inspection sticker. He only states it's an "As-Is" sell and that's he only defense. THOUGHTS: One would have to ask themselves, how did a vehicle pass Virginia inspection but less than 30-days later it fails for conditions that predate 30-days ago? If the inspection station illegally passed the vehicle then the deal should be null and void, and all expenses should be refunded to the customer upon return of the vehicle. Who sprayed black paint on the rust under the vehicle? Who had the most to lose if the vehicle didn't pass inspection? Why wouldn't Epovo just repair the vehicle, prior to selling it, so it would pass inspection legally? Why would an inspection station illegally pass a vehicle when Virginia vehicle inspections only cost $16.00? I'm only sharing my personal thoughts and experience with Epovo.

I traveled two and a half hours to get a vehicle I found at Epovo online. I was not disappointed. When I arrived I chose a different vehicle. Both vehicles... were clean, exactly as described, and great deals. (I had searched for my vehicle all over Northern Virginia.) The customer service was wonderful and buying was painless. It was a very fair process.
Unfortunately, this place is not a certified one as it is called. I purshased an Audi A4 2010 for my sister. I was clear with the dealer ( hossein) I told... him that I am going to buy from him, just give me a good reliable and safe car. This Audi looked perfect however, as soon as I left his garage going back to my house. The oil light came on. I called him and he said that it just need an oil change. 10 minutes after I stopped by the first jiffy lube to do an oil change. After a week from that the oil light came back. I took it back to the dealer he just waisted my time by letting me wait for a mechanic. Til one mechanic who works one block from him came to see the car and told me that I must take it to Audi. In fact Audi did their diagnostic and the engine failed due to the high oil consumption and other pistons and metal test issues. When I called the dealer his reply was that it’s my problem and it’s me who broke the engine while I was driving it on the highway. ( how can you say that. In other words the car that you sold me cannot go fast enough on the highway). Moreover the car had its clean guaranteed CARFAX. Be carful also if you buying through a TrueCar program make sure to pay the amount on your certificate . I got charged 207 $ more. Being honest is a big value.
My wife and I bought a Pont. GT 6 convertible about 30 days ago . Mr. PEJMAN was a great help in getting us financing.
