I purchased a vehicle march 2025 and unfortunately it

I purchased a vehicle march 2025 and unfortunately it turned out to be defective. Shortly after purchase, I noticed engine problems, electrical issues, safety concerns. When I contacted the dealership about the problem, instead of providing real support, they dismissed my concerns, refused to cover certain repairs, and offered no solution. Buying a car is a big investment, and I expected honesty and accountability. Instead, I was left with a vehicle that is unreliable and costly to fix. I’m sharing this so that others are aware before doing business here. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a dealership that stands behind what they sell. I find it misleading that the dealership is trying to frame this situation as if I simply purchased an “As Is” vehicle and later developed problems. The truth is, the issues with my 2019 GMC Terrain began the same day I drove it off the lot. That alone should tell future customers everything they need to know about the quality of vehicles being sold here. Yes, the dealership eventually replaced the engine, but needing a full engine replacement immediately after purchase is unacceptable and shows this vehicle should never have been sold in the first place. The so-called “professional courtesy” repairs were not favors — they were attempts to patch up a sale that was bad from the start. Instead of owning up to selling me a defective car, the dealership hides behind the “As Is” disclaimer while downplaying the severity of what happened. This wasn’t normal wear-and-tear; this was a vehicle with major, pre-existing issues sold to me as if it were roadworthy. I’m posting this so others know to be extremely cautious. Don’t just take their word for it — get an independent inspection before you sign anything, because once you drive off the lot, they’ll claim it’s your problem..

Hello Ms. Kamara – It is unfortunate that the 98,000-mile, 2019 GMC Terrain you purchased ‘As Is’ from our VW store has developed mechanical issues. At every reported occurrence, our dealership has responded with professional courtesy and complimentary repairs up to and including a complete engine replacement with warranty. We are proud to offer different levels of quality pre-owned vehicles for sale. These include factory certified units and Hewlett certified units which come with differing levels of warranty protection. The most affordable vehicles are sold ‘As Is’ and we go to great pains to fully explain the absence of any / all warranties associated with these vehicles prior to sale. Our commitment to you as our guest has been clearly demonstrated by the level of complimentary product support provided to you regardless of the ‘As Is’ status of the vehicle purchase. Since 1971 we are proud to have earned the repeat / referral business of thousands of our Central Texas neighbors. We’ve accomplished this by delivering market-driven vehicle sales and services in a friendly and professional manner. Apparently, quite a few folks appreciate our proven customer service approach. From this point forward you will be responsible for all needed repairs on your vehicle. Please contact us when / if we can provide additional customer pay vehicle support. Best regards – Don Hewlett Chevrolet Buick

Noemi, Finance Manager, and Logan G, Sales, were

Noemi, Finance Manager, and Logan G, Sales, were extremely nice to work with. We came and saw the Dodge Charger on Saturday and needed to think about the deal and numbers. Logan, very understanding said to touch base Monday. After going to see many cars to find the one we wanted- we are glad we chose Logan to work with! He knew how the be respectful, had a good listening ear, and would do pretty much anything to advocate for the customer. Noemi, even after closing hours stayed back to help us get the car we wanted and didn’t make use feel bad about coming late, after work! It was a pleasure working with them! Those two made the process completely smooth and stress free! You have a good team if you talk to those two!

Everyone was super helpful, especially Jeff Sawich who went above and beyond to make sure our car shopping was a success. The Equinox will be my wife's main vehicle and he spent extra time explaining all of the new gadgets and buzzers and bells to her.

My Service Advisor, Ashleigh, was great from check-in to

My Service Advisor, Ashleigh, was great from check-in to check-out and understanding the issue with my 2015 GMC Denali AC unit and the need to get my truck back on the job. After they evaluated and confirmed the AC issue and gave me the estimate, I also asked for an additional item to be repaired (tailgate bushing) while my truck was in for the original AC repair and she did not hesitate to get it done. I will return to their excellent service department.

My experience with this dealership has been extremely

My experience with this dealership has been extremely disappointing, beginning with my first visit and continuing through to the final bill. I brought in my 2013 Chevy Spark, suspecting a problem with the front wheel bearing, but encountered poor communication and unprofessionalism throughout the process. After four days without any updates, I had to reach out for information, only to receive vague responses. A promised ride with a technician during drop-off never materialized, adding to my frustration. Ultimately, I was quoted over $2,300 for various repairs, including a cabin air filter and tire changes, while the diagnosis regarding the wheel bearing was incorrect. Despite having an oil leak and needing an oil change, no repairs would commence until I agreed to the entire list of services. When I inquired about the rear bearing noise, I received no clear answer, just a steep quote of $1,400 for the bearing replacement. This experience has left me feeling that my safety and concerns were not taken seriously. When I decided to retrieve my car due to the excessive costs, I was told to bring my credit card and a smile, which felt dismissive. I was informed that I owed for services I never approved, and when I took my car to another shop, they expressed their dissatisfaction with the service I received and the inaccurate problems reported. I strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from this dealership; I’m relieved I didn’t buy a $100,000 truck from them. Any rebuttal they provide will likely be misleading, so I urge potential customers to take their business elsewhere.

Hello Timothy Roberts - How are things out in Jarrell? We hope you are doing well. Thank you for your recent visit to our Chevrolet Service Department with your 121,000-mile 2013 Chevy Spark. In reviewing the service notes, here's what we find: When you dropped your vehicle off on Friday, August 15 @ 11 am we were very clear that diagnosis may take as long as 48 hours. As we are only open for half a day on Saturday this time frame extended into Monday morning. At approximately 9:48 Monday you were sent a text message detailing the technician’s findings, recommended repairs and final pricing. Upon consideration, you declined the recommended, needed rear wheel bearing repairs and you paid for the preapproved, requested maintenance service and diagnostic fee. Since 1971 we are proud to have earned the repeat / referral business of tens of thousands of our Central Texas neighbors. We’ve accomplished this by delivering market-driven vehicle sales and services in a friendly and professional manner. Apparently, quite a few folks appreciate our proven customer service approach. Please contact our store if you’re prepared to work together towards the diagnosis and repair of your current concerns. If for any reason you feel that we will be unable to match your expectations, we encourage you to seek your product support elsewhere. Best regards - The Hewlett Customer Care Team
