We drove to Alexandria from NY to pick up our car after clinching all the details and pricing with Pete Bader by phone and text. Easiest, most pleasant and most straightforward car purchase we’ve ever made. It was a pleasure dealing with him, he worked with us every step of the way with no games and no unpleasant surprises. Other dealers could learn a thing or two from Pete! I strongly recommend you give him a call next time you need a car.

Just had a very pleasant new car purchase (and trade-in)
Just had a very pleasant new car purchase (and trade-in) experience at Beyer Subaru with Ron Samuels (sales) and Hakim Hashimi (finance). Found the new Subaru I wanted on their website and drove it home a few hours later. Ron was very knowledgeable about the car and its features. Took a relaxed test drive during which he answered our questions. Negotiated to a price we were happy with. Hakim Hashimi made the financial transaction very simple. We would shop at Beyer again.

Buyer Beware
On January 2022, I purchased an 09 Lexus RX350 from Beyer Subaru Alexandria, VA. I was purchasing the car out of state and was told the car was in good condition and had no scratches or dents. I received the car and after two washes wa-lah scratches appeared. I just wanted the salesman to be honest because the car is a 09 and would have some wear and tear. Within a week after receiving my car,I noticed a massive oil leak. I took my car to my auto mechanic and I was told I had an oil gasket leak. Thank God! I realized oil was leaking because this could have caused major damage to the motor. The total for repairs was an additional $290.00. So now I am out of $290.00 and I have a car with terrible scratches on both bumpers. I am very unhappy with my purchase at Beyer Subaru Alexandria, VA I am also disgusted, the salesman told me I was going to get $100.00. I was having so much trouble with the transporter that they offered to give me $100.00. I did not see one penny of this $100.00. This is a very dishonest business and I did reach out for help. Buyer beware especially when purchasing an (As Is) used vehicles.

Excellent Service
I took my Outback in for a recall and had to get my windshield replaced. The dealership not only replaced my windshield, but pulled a new 2022 Outback off their lot with literally 17 miles and gave me as my loaner until my car was repaired. The dealership provided daily updates with my repair progress. When my car was ready to be picked up, I was sick and kept the loaner for about one week- and was never harassed to bring the car back. Well done! However, it would have been exceptional service had the customer rep taken a few minutes when I returned to pick-up my car to greet me and ask how was the new loaner. That would have been a perfect project close-out!

I took my vehicle to this dealership to have it inspected...
I took my vehicle to this dealership to have it inspected for a vibration occurring at highway driving speeds. I was told that my tires were aggressive and because my rims were STI rims and not WRX rims, they would not even inspect the suspension because it was a modification. I bought my WRX with these rims and had always had the existing BFGoodrich tires in the vehicle for the life of the car. I’ve had multiple Subaru dealerships service my car with this existing equipment without any problems. The customer service was insanely slow and the service representative assigned to my case couldn’t even speak in complete sentences most of the time. The service representative called me by mistake before I even left the dealership in my courtesy loaner to tell me about the status of someone else’s vehicle and then laughed and hung up on me when she realized what she had done. I waited 30 minutes for them to bring my vehicle around from the back when I picked it up and the place was completely void of customers. This was the most unprofessional organization and the greatest display of incompetence I’ve ever experienced in automotive experiences in my life. I will NEVER return to this dealership.

I bought a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek from Beyer Subaru this past Memorial Day weekend. I cannot express the professionalism, courtesy, and genuine manner Pete Bader showed me. I walked out of three other dealerships for being treated poorly - I wasn't desperate for a vehicle - I was just in the market for one. Mr. Bader let me examine the vehicle at my leisure, test-drive it, and let me go home to talk things over at my own pace. He understood the investment I was making and let me take my time. He didn't pressure me to get any extra services, and only asked me one time if I was interested in financing through them (I had been pre-approved through my bank). He got me titled with permanent tags on the holiday, which I was very appreciative of. The car has been great but truthfully Mr. Pete Bader was the highlight of the experience and the reason I chose to do my business with Beyer Subaru.
