car buying experience

I just bought my 6 or 7th car from Lief Johnson since 1990. they always give me the best price. I have worked with James Billington on the last 3 and i know that i can get with him and get exactly what i am looking for without any bs. I highly recommmend you try LJF and James before you buy anywhere else.

Horrible Service Department

Horrible experience. You are gambling by allowing this service department to work on your vehicle. We had a diesel engine replacement in June 2016 after our vehicle broke down while traveling through Texas. Numerous oversights and mistakes have led to significant repair bills since the work at Leif Johnson. We left the dealer without our speedometer and fuel gauge working due to the failure to hook up the front hub sensor. A local Ford dealer made this repair when we arrived back home and Lief Johnson reimbursed the cost. Since that time we have discovered many additional significant issues: 1. did not install the engine to body ground strap causing the vehicle to die repeatedly and electrical system damage, 2. multiple leaks at radiator and hose connections that was replaced by Leif Johnson, 3. Lower fan shroud seal beneath radiator ripped in half and left hanging, 4. A/C coolant lines damaged and leaking because protective covering melted after being ran too close to exhaust manifold, 5. Cross member bolts missing and/or loose, 6.multiple existing wire connections ripped in half due to oversight of mechanic to disconnect properly, 7. the engine block heater cord was wrapped around the frame, severing the cord. 8. Ford Certified Diesel mechanic said the retaining clip behind the coolant bottle was broken, allowing wires to drop behind break pedal, eventually wearing through protective covering, causing a short to occur and the engine to die. Also caused damage to other electrical system. These are the more significant issues. We have tried on several occasions to speak to the service department and the communication is terrible and there is very little follow through. Extremely frustrating and expensive experience.

First official new car

I had a Great expirence with my first official new car thanks to melissa Martin! She Helped me get a car on New Year's Eve after I called and told them my car just went out and I have to be at work Monday. She Even let me bring my dog in with me so she didn't have to sit in the car in the cold. I Will keep using her in the future. Thanks to Gordon and Isaac as well for working with me! Great people and great company to deal with!

Great Service

Great service from Leif Johnson. They took the time to listen to us and fill our needs. Bryan was very patient with us and our 2 year old Daughter who was not happy that day

Happy Explorer Owner

Excellent

Purchased vehicle online. Car was exactly as described. We couldn't get to the dealer before it closed, so Marcos arranged for us to complete the paperwork during non-business hours. Everything went smoothly.

Great sales people

The employees there were attentive and friendly. I've bought 3 cars from LJ used superstores and everyone is great, every time. They don't make money by offering you a lot for your trade unprompted, so don't be afraid to discuss it. Bring similar listings.

Angel Ortiz- Leif Johnson Ford

Angel Ortiz is the ideal Salesman. He doesn't pressure and listening astutely to your needs. He is also very accommodating and proactive. I am not a fan of salesmen in general but I would recommend Angel whole heartily.

Joe Gaffney is the Best!

Joe and Chad were so helpful when I came to them to purchase a used car. There were a few that were similar but I was hunting for the best deal. I ended up taking home a vehicle and was able to come back the next day to trade in for another one I liked more. Thank you both for being so patient and kind in the process. I learned so much about the buying process and thank you for making sure I found the right car for me and my family.
