Needed brakes, saw this coupon on Kia of Irvine website. Spoke with Brad, (super nice guy) brought it in and let him know I needed rear brakes. Kia of Irvine Special Front/Rear Brake Replacement Performed by Kia factory-trained technician $349.95 per axle Replace brake pads - Rotor resurfacing included - Lube caliper slides - Check calipers - Kia Genuine Parts – Designed specifically for your vehicle’s performance - Coupon Expires: 09/30/2025 Told I needed an inspection and asked if the $240 was additional to the $349.95 replacement cost. Amanda said no, it was included. Thought ok, let’s do it. Date: September 3, 2025 at 9:28 AM Service Advisor: Amanda Villarial Transportation: Drop Off Tag#: C483 Promised Date: September 3, 2025 Promised Time: 6:00 PM Customer Approved Services Service Cost Customer States Comments: Comments: CUSTOMER REQUEST A REAR BRAKE INSPECTION. $240.00 Waited in the waiting room and after 2 hours, asked Amanda for an update. She said yes, and shuffled through some papers and told me it would be $901.14 for the rear brakes. WHAT !!! First off, why could she not walk 20 feet into the waiting room and let me know she has an update. This is the second time dealing with her and I am now convinced she does not belong in customer service. Second, I did not request brake inspection as noted above, she made it sound like it was included in the coupon cost of $349.95. So tired of this crap If you see below, the recommended service, is it not what is included in the coupon??? Recommended service $901.14 Brake Job - Rear (Replace Pads and Rotors): need new rotors and new brake pads Brake pads are the parts of a car's braking system that actually take the brunt of the frictional force necessary to stop the car. In a disc brake system, the brake pedal activates a hydraulic line which squeezes calipers against the rotors of the car's tires. Brake pads are positioned between the calipers and the rotors to absorb the energy and heat, and then provide enough grip to stop the car. Brake rotors are the parts within the wheels of an automobile which brake pads squeeze in order to slow the rotation of the wheel and bring the vehicle to a stop. Also, asked for the service manager, didn’t get his name but was really of no help at all. Bought the cost down a bit but was still way more than the coupon price. So I obviously declined and had to pay $240 for a cute little video of what is needed on the car, when all I wanted to do was have my brakes repaired. Was so upset when I left, that even nice guy Brad wouldn’t even look at me when I walked by him. Horrible customer service Being a woman, I am so tired of being taken advantage of

Ricardo was helpful and friendly. He texted me with recommended services for my Kia Soul and completed the ones I selected in a reasonable amount of time. Shuttle service was free and driver was very friendly. Staff upon pickup of the car were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the free snacks in the waiting area and in the shuttle. First time here - we will be back.
