Great Buying Experience from 1900 Miles Away
Jeff Gipson & his team were a tremendous help in our purchase of a used car for our daughter at CSU. Jeff eased the challenge of buying a car cross country with all his experience in working with parents & students. He was proactive & responsive, identifying a fantastic & safe used car of high quality while staying within our budget, all over the July 4th weekend. The team's coordination of inspecting & servicing the car, processing paperwork, & final delivery of the car minimized the stress of the buying process. We had peace of mind knowing that such an important decision all the way from Connecticut was handled by a knowledgeable, trustworthy team. We highly recommend Jeff Gipson to any student or parent looking for a car.

Jeff Gipson at Pedersen Toyota was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond as a salesman. He literally ran to keep us on schedule. Thank you so much! I would highly recommend this dealership.

We are return customers of Megan Alayon at Pedersen and love doing business with her. We have shopped around many times, all over the state and even out of the state, and she has beat every price we have ever taken to her. We have purchased 3 new vehicles from her and will be purchasing at least 2 more when our daughters are old enough to drive. Megan goes out of her way to provide excellent customer service. Sitting in her office and interacting with her, you can see she isn't "salesy" but personable and cares about her customers. In our busy family and business lives, we don't have time to play the games, and she is a straight-shooter and bends over backwards. We would recommend Pedersen and Megan time and time again.

Price gouging, not interested in my business
I contacted this dealer looking for a specific vehicle that I know is hard to come by right now. I was condescended to by the employee who contacted me back about how rare it is and I would have to wait a year for it, as if I didn’t know (I am a female, he was a male). No real effort to get my business, just take it or leave it. Then he proceeded to tell me they were selling them at well above MSRP. This car is hard to find and people need it, but they are price gouging! No thanks, I will take my business elsewhere in Colorado to one of the many dealerships that have been kind and respectful, the deposits are refundable, and they sell at MSRP, unlike Pedersen. By the way, another dealer will be able to get me the vehicle in the next few months.

Terrible customer service.
Terrible customer service. They hold my car hostage for 5 days without diagnostic. Contact this dealership so many times for status of repairs. No one called back to update anything. Never ever recommend this dealership!

Thank you for the feedback. We communicated with you a timeline we would be able to look at it when you dropped it off. We have since tried several times to reach you. The number you gave us rings twice and goes to voicemail. Messages left. Tried again today to let you know your car is finished and ready for pickup. If you would like to call, 970-266-7345 to schedule pick up. Service is open 7:30a to 5:30p.
No messages left! I have my phone with me all day- no calls from you at all until 5:07pm on the day that I demanded an answer, when you close at 5:30pm, shuttle service close at 5pm. My phone had no problem as I was able to receive/dial phone calls throughout the day. The only problem was that you didn’t dial my #. Stop being dishonest to customer!! Totally unacceptable customer service.
Great Experience.
I am a college student and not always sure what to do when getting vehicle serviced. The people there explain to me what needs to be done and my options. I have experienced great service at this dealership. The experience here has been much better than I received at other dealerships.

Very poor service.
Very poor communication from dealer. We had to repeatedly call about status of repairs which were in excess of $1000.00. Auto returned in dirty condition with bird droppings on hood from being left in Dealer lot.

Took my rav 4 in yesterday as I had a slow leak in tire. Jeff in service department was amazing. Found construction nail in tire and got it patched. Jaun was great as well as I was checking out. 3rd time in a few months I've been here and I can't say enough about the great customer service! I lost my husband and moved here a year ago so extra nice for me to have someone I trust!!! Thank you!

Poor customer service, ok purchase price
tldr; I give the dealership a 2/5 as far as my experience, a 4/5 for pricing in this (Dec 2022) market. Recently I bought a Toyota Corolla from Pedersen Toyota. I had an alright experience buying the car but I made a mistake that didn't make it so great. A few months ago I "pre-ordered" a Toyota Corolla. This is where I made a mistake because as part of the order I agreed to purchase the car or forfeit a $1,000 deposit. The dealership used this as leverage against me during negotiations. Next time, I'll be sure I can walk away from a deal no strings attached. I wasn't satisfied with experience as a customer because the dealer verbally told me that I wasn't committed to a car until I agreed to buy it, but that wasn't precisely what was written on the agreement. I think they should have made this more clear, although it was also my fault for not reading/understanding it thoroughly. Also, I later learned that I should have had them agree to a price before I put down my deposit. They gave me 0 communication on doing something like this, which is in their best interest, but was very frustrating because it caused friction later. It was about a 2-3 month wait to get my car. When I went in to pickup the car, I used YAA's advice to negotiate, focusing on the out-the-door price first. I was able to get them to give me the floor mats for free ($300), but when I wanted to negotiate the doc fee is when they used my deposit as leverage against me. So I was stuck between accepting MSRP + a $700 doc fee or lose my $1,000 deposit... I ended up purchasing the vehicle since it isn't a bad deal to get a car at MSRP and the $1,000 loss would offset the doc fee. :/ I also knock points to the dealer because they were pretty frustrated and impolite when I asked them to take out the floor mats and remove the doc fee or I would walk. It's fine for them to politely decline, but the salesman overreacted IMO. All I did was ask for $300 off you shouldn't get so frustrated for something like that. Then of course them misleading me with the $1,000 deposit terms. Anyway. It was a $700 lesson for me to avoid giving a dealership leverage unless they agree to a price. Also, to clearly read & understand anything you're gonna sign. Working with a dealer can be a real pain! If you can, definitely make sure you can always walk away and be willing to walk away if the deal doesn't make sense to you.
