Ulysses Gaytan was the worst service advisor Ive ever

Ulysses Gaytan was the worst service advisor Ive ever been served with. On Dec, 12, 2025 I went to this dealership for 5k maintenance service. And paid $1600 for the whole repairment. 2 weeks later, the check engine light was on, so I ad to drive back this past Monday. Ulysses does nothing but only taking photos of the vehicle, and didn't even estimate how much will it cost for theservice, instead keep saying it won't be charge so far. Once the vehicle was ready he said that he will have to charge us for the gas cap loosen, originally $225, but he discounted to $150. I asked why. He said it's not someting they did while the repairment, but it's we did something that caused the light on. Until I asked him to get me the supervisor for a better clarification then he discharged the service. I hope the dealer take serious action and look into this occasion deeper, due to his serving attitude was completely ridiculous and unprofessional.

I have been taking my car to Tuttle click Mazda Irvine

I have been taking my car to Tuttle click Mazda Irvine for a couple of years. I always leave a satisfied customer. They always send me a short video where they go over everything they checked. I trust them that they won’t try to fix something that does not need to be fixed. They are the best!

I had an excellent experience at Tuttle Click Mazda in Irvine thanks to Marta Sullivan and Jeremy Wang. Marta was attentive from the start, quickly understood what I was looking for, and made the process smooth and stress free. After I completed the purchase, she stayed with me to go over the CX-50 Hybrid’s features, showed me how to use the infotainment system, paired my phone, and set up the MyMazda app so I could take full advantage of the car. Jeremy, the sales finance manager, was equally impressive. He was patient, clear, and thorough in explaining the financing process, taking the time to answer every question without rushing. His professionalism and approachable manner made the paperwork feel easy. Both Marta and Jeremy made this one of the best car buying experiences I have had and I would gladly recommend them to others.

My 5 year experience with Mazda service has been

My 5 year experience with Mazda service has been extremely positive. They are always helpful and efficient and their prices very reasonable. The service is always done in about 2 or 3 hours, and they call me if something looks like it needs replacing. So that would be 5 stars. But Sales is a different matter. I did my research, made an offer, and it was immediately accepted. However, the day of pick-up, although I was paying cash via check, I was required to fill out a credit application, wait for hours, and then repeatedly refuse the extended warranty. They were obnoxiously pushy! The entire ordeal took 7 hours. I will never go through that again, although I love my Mazda 6. So although my salesman was pleasant and cooperative, and service is very good, the pick- up day was ruined for me. It should have been a happy and exciting experience.

I had a recall on my Mazda and was notified to bring it

I had a recall on my Mazda and was notified to bring it in. I made an appointment and brought my car in. The gentleman who assisted, Ulysses Gaytan, was kind and helpful. I left my car there overnight, they did the repairs. When I came back, they let me have my car without trying to upsell me on anything and like that, I was off. It was a great experience.

Very shady business and approaches.

Very shady business and approaches. I was pressured into adding extended warranty after saying no 5 times and cancelled it within 24-48 hours. They are not responding to our emails or calls in how they are going to resolve this. I put down a large down payment and the only email I received was the automatic email after they cancelled that they would process the request in 4 to 6 weeks and send me a check when my loan is paid off. I'm still paying interest on a service I cancelled right away! Worse, I called their financial service support line and they told me the money would just be applied to the principle, the loan amount wouldn't change, and I wouldn't receive a check. She also told me, it doesn't matter how much time has passed since I cancelled the warranty... The car had been driven 10-20 miles so I have to pay $2680 plus interest? They are earning interest and I am paying for a service I never have or will receive. Even if they send me a check when the loan is paid off in years the value of those dollars will be way less and interest accrued, and they know that. It should be that you lower my loan amount or keep the loan amount and send me a check for the cancelled services right away but that would be fair and ethical. It's ridiculous how many people have ignored us and refused to help. I would advise to do business elsewhere or bring a lawyer with you to finance your car. That is so sad. I won’t even get into the issues before we got to the finance stage because they seem small scale comparatively. My last email was blocked by their financial department so I have no way of getting in touch with them anymore.

So my service advisor i was mainly working with was

So my service advisor i was mainly working with was great, very helpful and honest. However after i picked my car up this last time the airbag light was on. They didnt tell me. When i asked they said they noticed it during their work but couldnt be what they had done. So part of my issue was i needed my window regulator fixed, so they opened up the whole door to get to it. Told me it would be over a $900 fix. Told them no. So got the car back with the new airbag light etc. i looked up the window regulator, it was a $60 part, and fixed it myself. No way that was anywhere close to $900 work. It took me 25 minutes to do. Not only that, after i put everything together the airbag light is off. What xx
