Our experience with CarMax started wonderfully when I called online and talked to Kayla she was very helpful and informative and help me understand all the necessities and the steps that had to be taken and all the information and help me get all of my responsibility accomplished then we were able to enjoy the professionalism of carmax in Oxnard California and had a wonderful experience with our salesperson d d was wonderful very helpful and made our process very easy to understand and help to sign everything necessary we love our car and our very thankful for the service department doing such an excellent job and CarMax reaching out to us and helping us with everything that we needed to know even with our loan company American acceptance and helped us to do everything smoothly I'm looking forward to hearing from CarMax at every turn have a great day stay safe on the road

After visiting at least three other dealerships, my experience with CarMax was a refreshing change. From the start, Mike Townsend simply asked what I was looking for and what price range I wanted to stay within—and then delivered exactly that without any nonsense or pressure. The process was straightforward, friendly, and respectful of my time. What impressed me most was how transparent they were throughout the entire process. They clearly explained what was outstanding with the vehicle recalls and took the time to help me look at both the pros and cons of the car. I never felt rushed, misled, or pushed into something I did not want. Unlike the other dealerships I visited, where the focus seemed to be on adding accessories, extra warranties, and anything else that would drive up the price, CarMax kept the experience honest and simple. Their no-pressure approach made the car-buying process much easier and far less stressful. I truly appreciate the way CarMax conducts business—with professionalism, transparency, and a friendly attitude. I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a car-buying experience without the usual runaround.

The car took a while to get, but the dealership was helpful, even working with us on a tire with sidewall damage, even though it was technically in spec.

Going into CarMax, I was a little nervous since it was my first time purchasing a car. As a new graduate who had just moved back home, I needed a reliable vehicle to get to work. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Cean was the one who helped me throughout the process, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I came in not knowing exactly what kind of car I wanted, but he patiently guided me through the many options available. We first made a list of a few cars I was interested in, and he showed my family and me around to look at them, but none of them really caught my eye. Instead of letting me give up, he went back to the drawing board with me and helped me explore even more options. He took the time to explain which vehicles would be the best value based on mileage and other important factors, making it easier for me to make an informed decision. While helping me, he even took time to let my sister look at a car she was interested in and offered to contact her when it became available. After several attempts, we finally found the perfect car. When he mentioned there was another color available for the same model and it happened to be the exact color I wanted, I knew I had to see it. He brought it over for a test drive, and the moment I drove it, I knew it was the one. Even then, I was a little hesitant and told him I wanted to think about it overnight. He completely understood and never pressured me, simply telling me I could come back the next day with my decision. I returned the following day and purchased the car. Overall, Cean made what could have been a stressful first-time car buying experience feel easy and enjoyable. His patience, honesty, and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference, and my family and I couldn’t be happier with the car. I highly recommend working with him if you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping you find the right vehicle.

Friendly, professional and did not pressure you into the normal dealership traps. Loved the 10 day return and 30 day warranty. Beautiful car but the fuel gauge does not seem to read correctly. Called service department and instantly booked an appointment. So far so good and would highly recommend CarMax.

Great customer service, found the truck I wanted and got it shipped in. Had some minor issues with truck but car max took care of the repairs no questions asked. Definitely recommend buying a car here.
