Going into CarMax, I was a little nervous since it was my first time purchasing a car. As a new graduate who had just moved back home, I needed a reliable vehicle to get to work. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Cean was the one who helped me throughout the process, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I came in not knowing exactly what kind of car I wanted, but he patiently guided me through the many options available. We first made a list of a few cars I was interested in, and he showed my family and me around to look at them, but none of them really caught my eye. Instead of letting me give up, he went back to the drawing board with me and helped me explore even more options. He took the time to explain which vehicles would be the best value based on mileage and other important factors, making it easier for me to make an informed decision. While helping me, he even took time to let my sister look at a car she was interested in and offered to contact her when it became available. After several attempts, we finally found the perfect car. When he mentioned there was another color available for the same model and it happened to be the exact color I wanted, I knew I had to see it. He brought it over for a test drive, and the moment I drove it, I knew it was the one. Even then, I was a little hesitant and told him I wanted to think about it overnight. He completely understood and never pressured me, simply telling me I could come back the next day with my decision. I returned the following day and purchased the car. Overall, Cean made what could have been a stressful first-time car buying experience feel easy and enjoyable. His patience, honesty, and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference, and my family and I couldn’t be happier with the car. I highly recommend working with him if you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping you find the right vehicle.

Friendly, professional and did not pressure you into the normal dealership traps. Loved the 10 day return and 30 day warranty. Beautiful car but the fuel gauge does not seem to read correctly. Called service department and instantly booked an appointment. So far so good and would highly recommend CarMax.

Great customer service, found the truck I wanted and got it shipped in. Had some minor issues with truck but car max took care of the repairs no questions asked. Definitely recommend buying a car here.

Over all process went smooth, but sure enough after we had car in our possession and after day 10 broken glass was found in the ac system

Buying process was excellent. However, buyers beware. Buying a used car I expected the fluids to be replaced at the minimum. But found oil was old and even overfilled. Simple things like oil filter and drain plug were way over tightened. Can't really trust their mechanical ability either based on the simple things I have found as a check engine light came on just a few days after purchase. Over all the process was very smooth, just be sure to get the car inspected by a reputable shop.

This is my first experience with CarMax. I’m pleasantly impressed. My online order for a car (with no obligation to buy) went seamlessly. I bought the car. I had a minor issue. The service department (Philip) was wonderful and took care of it. The car is well inspected and everything is safe and good working order. You won’t get their 30 day guarantee from a private party.
