After a fantastic, 5-star, 20-year relationship, this dealership has let me down on the service side. Poor communication, confused expectations, questionable pricing. Some things are still great: the service videos, the tech’s thoroughness (I hope). But because of how I was treated, I don’t trust them. I’ve recommended them to a number of people including two clients and now I feel uncomfortable. I hope this was just a small series of blunders…but it was an expensive lesson. Longtime service-writer person Tim Price, who did not handle my car this time but listened carefully to my account, agreed that I may have been treated unfairly and said the manager would call. Two days later: no call. I’d hate to lose this as a trusted service place, they’ve been so good in the past.

It was the best experience I've had purchasing a car. Johnathan, my salesman, is very knowledgeable about the vehicles and transparent through the purchasing details. Just a nice guy and a great dealership.

Great experience.

Great experience. Rob was a consummate professional and a heck of a nice guy. Dealership is excellent. Also, Andy gave us a great rundown of the car. And, of course, the car is awesome.

I love the service at BMW and the customer service by Tim Price in San Rafael. He is always super helpful, friendly and takes an interest in keeping my X3 in great condition. I’m so thankful for Tim and he represents BMW well. Love my car and will always choose BMW in the future.

Purchased my used 2014 Audi A4 above blue book and sight

Purchased my used 2014 Audi A4 above blue book and sight unseen based on dealership website advertisement and being a larger dealership. Salesman very communicative through purchasing process. Docu sign etc. Once car was delivered and signed over I noted 3 things. Broken headlight, service due, and third brake lamp broken and hanging from ceiling. Communicated these issues to dealership. After long turn around times and multiple follow ups on my part they sent a check for the headlight leaving me with a $1k service and broken third brake lamp. Complained to BBB in which dealership replied and lied stating check cut for headlamp but nothing else was safety concern. Brought my concerns to sales manager and he stated I got a good car. But it’s used. They recondition as best they can. Suppose all of that could fly at a used car lot on the corner but this is San Rafael BMW. Over book and an additional 1k into it. And have yet had time or funds to address third brake lamp. 5 kids full time job which they were willing to accommodate said kids and schedule hence delivery but could care less now that it’s my problem.

Third brake lamp hanging from wires isn’t a safety issue?
