Thompsons Toyota

I recently went to Thompsons because of a used truck I saw through searching their website. After visiting the facility I was greeted by friendly staff and my sales person was quick to help me search for the vehicle. I mistook the mileage and gave him my parameters for the search. I still have not purchased the vehicle, but have been contacted with other options since without the "when are you coming in" type pressure. Great place, would definitely buy here if I could find the vehicle here.

We were very pleased with the service and straight forwardness. This is not a hard sell dealership. We were so pleased we bought 2 cars.

Thompson Toyota earned a customer for life with our latest car purchase. My husband and I were looking to trade in our F-150 for a new Corolla. We decided to make the trip up to Placerville after spending 3-4 hours at a different Toyota dealership being belittled and pushed around to the point where I no longer wanted to give them our business. Thompson's Toyota offered a better amount on our trade in within the first 30 minutes of us being there then it took us "haggling" for 3 hours at the other dealership. Nick, our salesman was wonderful! He didn't want to just sell us any car, he wanted to sell us the car we wanted. Him and Ryan did their best to show us all our options, not only within their dealership, but ALL dealerships within the state of California and surrounding states. In the end, we got the car we wanted and for a better price! I would 100% recommend this dealership to everyone! Thanks Nick T. and Ryan T.!

Ryan Turner was very helpful and knowledgeable of the product that he sells. He was professional and not pushy. We appreciated his desire to make sure we were happy and well cared for during the purchasing process.

bill you assured me that the price you quoted was the best that you could do, but then the other guy at thompson's claimed that you could have done better. thompson's has such a good reputation that i have to presume that you took it upon yourself to mislead me? you assured me that i was getting better than internet price, so i checked thompson's on the internet and found that the car was advertised at $23,488, $1000 less than you offered. were you trying to beat me out of $1000? does thompson's condone this behavior? i must be missing something, i'm sure that you have an explanation for my confusion and that as soon as we clear that up, yes, i am ready to pick up that rav4. thanks bruce

This turned out to be the best car buying experience I've ever had. I've bought cars at Roseville Toyota, Future Ford, and Folsom Lake Toyota and truly, this was a fabulous experience! No hassle - the price was the price, they gave me a very fair price for my trade in- no game playing at all which was SOOOO refreshing! I brought my friend and he, too, was super impressed as well. In fact, he was the one who told me about Thompson's after looking at the website told me how great the prices were and the options offered on the RAV4. I absolutely recommend them to anyone - my sales person was Nick Tate and he was very knowledgeable and helpful and then Ryan Turner took care of the financing and then Shannon did the paperwork. Truly a great group & very easy to work with.

Jim Roth was very helpful from the start. There was no pressure to buy. He addressed all of our questions, made us a fair deal, and kept his promises as to the deal. He's very helpful, and all around a very nice guy. I would recommend anyone to go to him to buy a new Toyota!

The atmosphere was great and never did we feel pressured or haggled. it was easy and pleasant. A little longer than we expected but still better than all the other dealers we've spent with in the past. Friendly, clean and very curteous. definitely going there again for our next car.

I recently purchased a used Toyota truck from your dealership. Paul Devos was the first person I spoke with, and from that moment on my experience couldn't have been better. Tim Deklotz helped me find a truck that fit perfectly with what I wanted and was within my family's budget. After meeting with Tim, I spent a considerable amount of time with Paul as we filled out the paperwork needed to get me on the road. He was very knowledgable and also very personable. We were quickly sharing family stories which made me feel like I was doing business with a long time friend, something one doesn't encounter very often in today's business environment. My next stop was to see Robert Amador. He made me feel right at ease, and he did a fantastic job of explaining each of the many documents that needed to be signed. Moreover, he was very patient and enthusiastic when answering my endless questions. In addition to the great people I was able to meet and work with, I was also very impressed with your facility. I found it to be very comfortable. The ability to freely get a drink, muffin, or popcorn while reading the latest magazine or watching TV makes it feel like one is visiting a close friend. I can't help but think that this is due to the friendly, comfortable, and professional environment that Mr. Deklotz helps to foster. If there's anything negative I can say about my experience, it's that I expect to get many years of enjoyment out of our new truck. With this in mind, I don't anticipate having to buy another car or truck for quite some time. However, I will recommend to all of my friends and family that they make the drive to Thompsons to visit Tim, Paul, Robert, Lance, and the rest of your amazing team.
