On June 31 2024 we had purchased a 2024 Hyundai Tuscon

On June 31 2024 we had purchased a 2024 Hyundai Tuscon from Benjamin at Empire Hyundai in Fall River. Copy of the registration was not provided to us until 7/16. I was told I could bring the car back for the inspection sticker or get it myself and they would reimburse us the cost of $35 sticker fee. I chose to get it myself. , on 7/22 we sent in the receipt along with the copy of the inspection report to Benjamin. Benjamin said the check would be mailed out within a week.it's now 8/31 a full 5 weeks later and 4 phone calls later and they have not reimbursed us for the sticker. Benjamin nor empire have returned my calls or provided us with any explanation as to why they have not refunded us the $35 *** It's now 9/20/24 , 2 weeks after the first review in which Kasey the Marketing Director asked that I reach out to her. 3 times I tried and left messages. She never returned not 1 phone call. The last try She did text back my wife and said that we were never given a voucher for reimbursement, but she has cleared it with her bosses and we will receive a check promptly. Still no check. All smoke and mirrors. Kasey says she wants to help in the review then does nothing. Ben thru the company for the 3 time ssays they are writing a reimbursement check and does nothing. At this time my family has a 2024 Tuscon , a 2023 Tuscon and a 2024 Kia Niro. At a time where most dealerships are begging for sales this dealership group is doing everything to alienate their customers after they purchase. This dealership group will not stand behind you ,If they would screw us over $35 your know they will not think twice of screwing you over for more $$$

My elderly friend bought a jeep with over 80,000 miles 4

My elderly friend bought a jeep with over 80,000 miles 4 months ago. She showed me the paperwork and was shocked. Unfortunately, she was badly taken advantage of when she met with Joe, finance/business mgr of Empire. She is naive and was ill prepared for the shark! Because she was asked to sign a tablet, she was unable to see the costs involved in the following. Joe sold her over $7,000 worth of extended warranty’s, Simonize, vin lasered on the vehicle, windshield protection, dent/scratch protection, roadside assistance, etc, etc. Just sign here, it’s a great deal he said. She bought a vehicle for $19,000 (only worth $16,000 on Blue Book) They screwed her on this also. Obviously, my friend is at fault for not bringing someone with her who was more savvy. She admits she didn’t understand the details. I went with her to Empire Swansea to understand what transpired. I discussed with a manager there. He said they had a right to present and sell these packages to a buyer. I said that she was taken advantage of . He kept on stating that it was legal. I asked if they would have sold his Mother these packages. He had no response. My thought is this: just because you CAN oversell an elderly person, it doesn’t mean you should. It’s not ethical. But the almighty commission dollars overtook their ethics! Don’t go to Empire and meet with Joe to sign purchase papers without back up, unless you are confident in your negotiation abilities. Better yet, buy ELSWHERE!!

Awfull ,Awfull, disrespectful, insulting.

Awfull ,Awfull, disrespectful, insulting. Bait and switch. I checked the price online and talked to them right after. they went round in circles treating me like a fool. Came back the very next morning after I checked price online of the car just before . They made me wait 20 minutes. The manager came out and said the price just went up $2500.00 ten minutes ago. So dishonest and unprofessional . Do not do business with these people. Calling the better business bureau on them.

Earlier this year, I decided to trade my 2021 Tucson

Earlier this year, I decided to trade my 2021 Tucson Ultimate for the 2024 Tucson XRT. Initially, I wasn’t quite sure I had made the right choice since a few features I enjoyed in the Ultimate weren’t available in the XRT. However, after undergoing hip surgery, my perspective shifted completely. The XRT’s running boards (which the Ultimate didn’t have) made getting into the SUV so much easier post-surgery—an absolute game changer for me! I had my first scheduled service appointment a few days ago, and I must say, Jeffrey White and Frank Williamson were both incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s not easy to find such excellent service these days. Jeff took the time to thoroughly explain my service options, especially given my vehicle's low mileage. I was in and out quickly, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received. This service department truly knows how to keep their customers happy and satisfied.
