As a disabled veteran I find Midway Dodge's behavior

As a disabled veteran I find Midway Dodge's behavior reprehensible, especially since they defrauded us days before Veteran's Day. My son and I went into Midway Dodge and spoke with a salesman named Byron on Nov. 5th. We had picked out a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage with an advertised price $9795 as you can see in the attached photo. This was the price agreed upon with Byron the Salesman as well. After being made to wait several hours to get in to see the "finance guy" who was a burly, red-headed man who seemed personable and made small chat about his life in Joliet while he filled in the contract on the computer screen with the number we had agreed upon $9795 filled in. he did this with the screen showing to us so we could see him do it. However, when it came time to print the contract he claimed the printer was not working and we have to come back tomorrow unless we were willing to sign the documents via Docusign. Now having been at the dealership for hours already we did not want to come back so we agreed to have him send them via Docusign and sign them over the phone. At this point the finance guy turned the computer screen and started typing again while we could no longer see the screen. It was at this time that the numbers in the contract had to be changed. The sales price jumped from the advertised and agreed upon amount of $9795 to $10782.52 and a fee of $2000 was added for a key. There was no discussion of the changes and being sent the document to sign over Docusign to a phone made it so we did not notice the changes. The document was so small on the phone all you could see were the various spots marked by docusign to sign at and the rest of the contract was covered over by the bubbles created to sign. The worst part is we do not even have real keys. We have a valet key that will start the ignition but does not have a clicker to open doors and there is only the 1 key but they snuck in a $2000 charge for keys we will never get from them.

Want to spend 6 hours being lied to and coerced into

Want to spend 6 hours being lied to and coerced into misrepresented upsells? Want to drive off the lot with an unsafe and unreliable vehicle? Want to be held hostage past closing hours (in freezing weather) and pressured into lying to a bank in order to leave with your vehicle that you already paid for? Want to receive falsified service reports and contradictory information after leaving the car in their possession? Want to be told fabricated information and unable to escalate issues past incompetent reps? Want to be harassed at work then subsequently ghosted whenever you inevitably get stranded from the lemon they sold you? Want to receive voicemails of their reps defecating? Want to be offered a beer from the sales reps desk stash after you finalize the scam? If so, MIDWAY DODGE IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! After they honk a Durango horn directly in your 2 year olds face and lie their way into your pocket, You’ll drive home with bald tires, a 4 inch nail in your tire, a gas port that won’t open, a junkyard battery that will leave you stranded, a whole lot less money in your account and the peace of mind that within 24 hours, you’ll be without a vehicle, take a hit for Ubers, missed work, daycare, etc - and lose sleep soundly at night knowing that you’ll receive zero assistance in getting the car reliably drivable and safe enough for your family. They really go above and beyond with their level of incompetence and dishonesty! Don’t forget to document every single detail from interactions to reports to expenses, because if you’re in a pickle and looking for a way to make your day, week, month or year a whole lot worse? MIDWAY DODGE HAS YOU COVERED! Pay no mind to their expired business license, just add it to the evidence for your future lawsuit! I can’t think of a better place to go, except maybe the 6th layer of 🔥 - which is admittedly a lot warmer than the freezing parking lot of MIDWAY DODGE (before they kick you to the curb) and probably a lot kinder. Take notes, record what you can, document every word, take plenty of good photos before and after “services”, be prepared to pull teeth for a loaner or have some other means of transportation or… just avoid them entirely. Those I worked with were; Jimmy Chen, Kiko, Dan, Jesse, and the lady answering the phones and “transferring” us to dead lines and instant hang ups. They also operate off of Facebook pages so beware. Even if everything looks good, you’re probably in for a few surprises.

This customer was taken care of in a prompt, and professional manner. We have all documentation to prove it. This person also posted an intentional malicious review on Google. We at Midway Dodge strive to take care of customers as best we can, but as a business we have to draw the line when there are attempts to BLACKMAIL the dealership. Unreliable, unsafe, accusatory, dishonest, incompetent I

Unreliable, unsafe, accusatory, dishonest, incompetent I spent 6 hours there and left with an unsafe, faulty vehicle that no longer starts and was pressured by the team to lie to the bank and say the car is working fine after they promised to fix it and lied on their service reports without making the necessary fixes. The car is currently not drivable and they refuse to fix it and will not respond to calls or texts.

Let me tell you ALL something; THIS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT

Let me tell you ALL something; THIS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT TO GO FOR A GOOD DEAL AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was frustrated with metro ford on 67th and western; I was so ticked off I wanted to get RID of my ford transit connect and WANTED TO BUY A DODGE! I went to Midway Dodge; Found them on the internet and went to their website. I was IMMEDIATELY contacted by Mr. Webb who asked me to come in and talked to Kiko for service. Not only did I meet Kiko the very next day he listen to EVERYTHING I said about metro ford (Oh yeah I posted on Yelp, Carguru AND carfax but carfax removed my post! Note to self NEVER Deal with that site AGAIN! Look it up and see for yourself) They didn't have a Dodge Promaster that I was hoping for but after seeing a few vehicles that did work for me Kiko had an idea for me to check out the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica because it could meet all my needs. He had Mr. John Franko to help me out. He pulled up the Pacifica and I was SOLD! I "had" to test drive it (by Law) and Kiko was right; It exceeded my needs and then some! I had the ford repoed because I was DONE WITH IT and was told that "if there are any problems with the pacifica to bring it back and they will take care of it." I did have some issues pop up; I then connected my FIXD module to the van ( I HIGHLY recommend you get one!) and a bunch of things popped up. I contacted Kiko and he told me to bring it in and they will take care of it. I Brought my diagnostic list from my FIXD module and I gave it to Santiago (The supa dupa cool mechanic/tech assigned to my van) and he ran his own diagnostic and asked about the fact that he didn't see the check engine light light for the errors. That was HUGE to me because I didn't add that to the list! I was going to tell them about it instead and BAM he found that?!?! BONUS for me because that showed me that HE AND Midway Dodge is about business! They kept my van for almost two weeks and I used 2 "Loaners" which is fine to me because QUALITY TAKE TIME AND ALSO BEGETS QUALITY. Kiko called me and told me EVERYTHING that was going on with my van. Mr. Franko called me to let me know that the van was ready and I could pick it up! Let me tell you when I drove it off the lot I was BEYOND HAPPY BECAUSE EVERYTHING was BEYOND WORKING ORDER! They went above and beyond in making the repairs with my van! I'm happy with my deal and I'm EXTREMELY happy with the CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have bought MANY CARS, TRUCKS and VANS and To this date THIS IS THE VERY BEST COMPLETE SERVICE THAT I'VE EVER HAD! MAKE NO MISTAKE THIS IS THE PLACE TO START YOUR SEARCH FOR A NEW OF USE CAR! You will learn that Midway Dodge is the BENCHMARK for what you car buying experience SHOULD BE; Lol There is a good chance that you won't leave to another dealership! THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!
