I have been purchasing cars every three years for my entire life and I have NEVER...I repeat NEVER had the service, attentiveness, personality, professionalism and product knowledge that I received two days ago when I purchased my car at Langan V.W. I have been telling everyone that I am still wide-eyed over the fun it was to spend money. Chris O, Steve, and B.J. treated me with respect and dignity. Usually they hand you the keys after they've made the sale and scoot you out. The courtesy at your store is beyond comprehension for an automobile dealer. I went there hesitantly on someone else's recommendation. They got a very big thank you from me. You've got a customer for life ,as well as many others that I shall send your way. Thank you LANGAN! I had an excellent experience with this dealership. I live some distance away and it was difficult to find a dealer that had what I was looking for and willing to negotiate over the phone. We came to a fair price without a bunch of "back and forth" . Miguel understood my time was valuable and worked to make the process as painless as possible. He was extremely responsive via phone and email. Steve in finance talked me through my options, got my financing settled quickly and clearly explained each and every line item. The car I bought was a 2006, based only on pictures from their website. When I arrived, the car was spotless and exactly as pictured. BJ spent time with me going over the features of the car and making sure I was comfortable with everything. Their "delivery center" makes the process very pleasant. These people are friendly, extremely courteous and seem to have a passion for what they do. I've worked with other dealerships where they try to "guilt" you into buying something out of your price range, or give you mediocre service because you are not spending enough money. There was none of that here. I would happily recommend this team to anyone looking for a new or used VW.

This is the second car we've purchased from this dealership, both times from Dennis Erk. It doesn't feel anything like the typical sales experience. We were comfortable, informed, not pressured, and presented with a number of options, all of which were appealing. Dennis handled the entire transaction skillfully, expeditiously, and always had his focus on us as the customer. We were very happy with this experience and will be back for any future purchases as well! A+

On 12/31/12 we purchased our 2013 vw passat, this is the second new vw that we purchased at gene langan vw. The first was a 2001 Jetta wolfsburg which has lasted for 205k miles and still runs strong. This week, we purchased a used 2005 Jetta, which is our 5th vw. Our overall experience at the dealership was outstanding. Dennis was our salesman for both sales. He is not the typical pushy salesman that we have encountered at other dealerships in the past when looking for a new vehicle. The vw product has an excellent reputation and is definitely worth the very reasonable price that you pay, compared to the many other vehicles in their model size. Because of the ease of purchasing here at Langan VW as well as the whole purchasing experience, I can honestly say that I will continue to come back to Langan for all of my vehicle purchases and strongly recommend to my daughters and friends that they do the same. The new passat is our 4th vw and the 05 Jetta is our 4th Jetta. All of our Jetta's have been serviced, and have had repairs done with the service department at langan vw both in glastonbury and vernon. While sometimes pricy, I have never been dissapointed with any of the jobs done by the service dept., and have always been treated with respect when coming in for service work or repairs. I have referred many friends to langan for their new car purchase. I know of at least a dozen or more that have purchased more than one car at langan, most of them have kept their vw a long time, passing it down to their children as it is a very safe vehicle for the new driver and also operates with ease. The new car delivery experience is nothing like any other car dealership. Sergio took almost two hours to go through every option and operating procedure concerning our new passat, and Gene went through the 05 Jetta and all of it's options. My wife and i both left very comfortable and educated about our new passat and the 05 Jetta. It is truly an experience everyone should have when purchasing a new vehicle!

My overall experience was really great! I was listened to regarding my budget as well as my needs. The team was extremely friendly and made me feel very confident with my purchase and any future service needs. When I picked up my car I was given a thorough run through on all of my cars features. We were extremely pleased in all aspects of our experience with Langan Volkswagon and especially grateful for our salesman Mike Gauvin. I have never had better customer service purchasing a car. This car was especially important since ut was my 18 year old sons first car! The 2008 GTI black turbo is his dream car. Mike did a phenomenal job on the test drive and going over the car. It was in mint condition when we picked it up and rolled it off the red carpet. My son very much enjoyed having Gene Langan III show him all the features of the car. I was in awe of the collection of VW buses and Carmen Gia's in the showroom. Many thanks!

Well in a nutshell i found a Volkswagen Passat online and decided to go down and take a look at it. When i arrived at the dealership i ended up dealing with Emmerson. A very respectful person, i was blown away with how down to earth he was, I didn't feel like i was dealing with just another salesperson. He knew the car inside and out and answered any questions i could think of. When i got to question that you wouldn't know unless you where a mechanic he found someone who did and made sure i got all of my more mechanic-oriented questions answered. After a test drive i ended up buying the vehicle and when i went to the delivery center to pickup the car, I was once again very impressed with the people working there. They were also very down to earth and really cared that i drove away completely satisfied with the car and the service i received. I can honestly say it was one of the best dealerships I've ever been to. I Highly Recommend this dealer to anyone wanting a respectful no pressure car buying experience.

Everyone at this dealership is unbelievably kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They are passionate about the brand of VW. We went there on 3 separate visits. Because of our own time constraints, when our original sales person Joshua was out, Michael, another salesperson, helped us in Joshua's absence. For 2 of the 3 visits, Gene Langan himself was there. What an honorable business owner, so down to Earth. After a great, no pressure buying experience, we were taken to the VW museum to get our car. Sergio showed us every inch of our new VW Eos. And guess who was there, just enjoying his time with his cars, his passion, Gene Langan. He showed my 5 year old son all sorts of classic VW's and my firefighter husband loved the classic VW "firetruck". We all left there thinking, wow! Now that is a company that cares. I was told by my brother (long time customer there) to ask for Dutch - I was in the market for a used Jetta for an almost 17 y.o.. After telling Dutch what I wanted in the vehicle he showed me what was available.....explained the options, differences, answered my questions . I felt he was very receptive to my input and made genuine recommendations based on his years of experience. As I was undecided on the purchase, Chris suggested I look at a different vehicle, not quite as costly yet it had all I was looking for. the following day I did test drive the vehicle and was very happy with it. The perfect color, options - everything the young lady wished for. thanks Chris & Dutch. Next came the paperwork - done.....arrangements were made to bring in a check and schedule delivery . My experience with the finance gal was less than satisfactory and I immediately spoke with Chris. A business needs to be aware of how their customers are treated. Chris was most apologetic - sounded like this was not the first time he been told of her poor customer service. Since that moment my interactions have been superior ! Dutch, Chris, Sergio....you've all been wonderful. Everything has exceeded my expectations - follow up calls....service to the vehicle.....Chris is a hands-on manager - he and the staff are committed to please. I've nothing but praise for Chris and my sincere thanks for listening - then making this an exceptional surprise delivery to my unsuspecting grand daughter.
