I called the dealership, from Connecticut to inquire

I called the dealership, from Connecticut to inquire about availability of a red/orchid 2025 Integra Manual. Was told the car was available, agreed to price and Gave a deposit that day. Over the next two days, I completed paperwork, sent in insurance ID, and was told that the dealership said they had everything they needed from me. The following Monday morning, 15 minutes before arriving, to purchase the vehicle, I was told that they had sold the car. No explanation was given, no apology was given and no solution was given, other than to purchase what they had on the lot, or come back in several days if they were able to locate the vehicle.

Dealer response

A mistake was made, and the vehicle was sold. When we realized that the new vehicle you were coming in for was sold, we immediately called you, but it was too late as you were already almost at the Dealership. We apologized numerous times. We offered multiple solutions. The first solution was, the same vehicle you were interested in, just a different color. You were not happy with that because you came all the way here for a specific color, understandable. Second solution, we offered a year newer model vehicle with the desired color for the same price as the year older model. You did not like some of the cosmetic changes to the newer model year vehicle and decline this solution. Third solution, we offered to get the vehicle that you wanted, but it would take a few days. You stated that you could not wait. Fourth solution, we called other Acura Dealers to see if they had the car you were looking for. After some time, we found a Dealer that had the vehicle. We negotiated with that Dealer and convinced them to sell you the vehicle for the same price as we were going to sell you the vehicle for. You then went to that Dealer and purchased the vehicle from them the same day. Although it wasn’t ideal, under the circumstances, we tried our best to accommodate you after the mistake we made. We didn’t get anything out of this, but we did try our best to correct this situation. We are not sure what kind of explanation you are still looking for other than we made a mistake, the vehicle got sold, and we tried our best to correct it. We believe we did a decent job under the circumstances. We are not sure why you are saying no solutions were provided as we provided multiple solutions. Ultimately, we set up the same deal with a different Dealership, and you purchased the vehicle at that Dealership that same day. If we didn’t care, why would we go out of our way and do all this extra work to accommodate you to not make a single cent?

My experience at Springfield Acura was excellent!

My experience at Springfield Acura was excellent! I walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly receptionist. Since I had an appointment, I was immediately connected to Damian. We had done our research and already knew what we wanted. We also had a trade-in, and Damian listened carefully to our goals for both the trade-in and our new lease. Damian and his team made the entire process very seamless! When all was said and done, Damian literally rolled out the red carpet to our new car and took his time explaining all the features. Overall, Springfield Acura's staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, making for an exceptional visit. Ask for Damian – he's fantastic!

I purchased a 2020 Acura MDX from Acura of Springfield on

I purchased a 2020 Acura MDX from Acura of Springfield on March 26, 2025, under the impression that it was a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle. However, I later learned that the certification was not completed until May 1—more than a month after the sale and delivery. This means the car was sold as CPO when it was not officially certified, which is misleading and unacceptable. I paid a premium for CPO benefits that are supposed to be in place before taking delivery, including the 182-point inspection and extended warranty. I also had to follow up multiple times to get basic items like the second key fob and floor mats. A malfunctioning side mirror, which should have been addressed during inspection, was also overlooked. I reached out multiple times by email, letter, and phone with no formal response. Even after Acura corporate acknowledged the issue and tried to help, the dealership’s sales management team never followed up. Very disappointing experience overall. I expected more professionalism and accountability—especially when it involves trust and safety. I hope others ask detailed questions before assuming a vehicle is truly CPO.

Buyer beware.

Buyer beware. After I agreed on a price they showed me the invoice and about $3000 was ADDED on for certification, despite the fact it was advertised as certified. Bait and switch. They also added almost $500 for Administrative fees. Needless to say I did not purchase the car. I felt very scammed.......

BEWARE!

BEWARE!!! AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Brought in a 2022 Acura MDX A-Spec I just bought recently to this dealership because the speakers stopped working out of the blue. The car has about 31k miles on it and everything was working fine until the speakers stopped working. It turns out that recent MDX models are prone to clogged drains on the roof regardless of how well the car is maintained and even if the owner isn’t negligent in any way with car. Considering this, whatever needs to be done to fix this should be covered under warranty, which A LOT of owners in different MDX forums have stated it is. It depends on the dealership. My service rep Tara R. told me they ran a diagnostic check on the car and NEVER took it apart to see what caused the drain, and that this is common on the MDX models regardless of the mileage. When Acura corp. called the dealership to follow up on the diagnostic's the dealership did, they informed me the dealership told them that leaves caused the clog which in that case isn’t covered under warranty. The dealership told me one thing, and Acura corp. another because I guess they’re trying to get me to pay $7500 for a car that was just purchased. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED.
