We had another excellent experience working with Hammad Deeb at Honda Paramus! This is our second car purchase with him, and once again, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free from start to finish. Hammad made sure everything was handled efficiently, answered all our questions with patience, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident in our purchase. It’s rare to find someone so consistent, reliable, and easy to work with. We really appreciate his dedication and highly recommend him to anyone. Looking forward to working with him again in the future!

Justin was incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable about all the available options for me. John and Justin took the time to answer every question and made sure I felt confident in my decisions without making making me feel pressured. Everything was very clear and transparent and they made the entire process smooth and stress free. It's rare to find a team that's both professional and genuinely focused on helping the customer. We placed a deposit on a used vehicle on January 3, We placed a deposit on a used vehicle on January 3rd, 2026, and returned on January 6 to pay the remaining balance in cash. The vehicle was purchased for our daughter, who attends school in Virginia. Before completing the purchase, we specifically asked multiple times about the mechanical condition because the car would be driven by our daughter out of state. We were told it was in sound mechanical shape with no major issues. On February 19 — approximately six weeks later — our daughter began experiencing serious problems with the vehicle, including excessive oil burning. She took it to a local mechanic, who added oil and cleaned the engine at a cost of $430. Within 24 hours, the same issue returned. The vehicle was then taken to a Volkswagen dealership for a full inspection. We were informed that the oil burning was related to a broken timing chain. Additionally, it was discovered that the rear left parking brake was not functioning properly, which raised safety concerns. The estimated repair cost was approximately $6,000 — more than we paid for the vehicle (about $5,500). We were told by the mechanic that did the inspection for us that timing chain issues typically develop over time and do not usually fail without warning. This has raised serious concerns for us about the vehicle’s condition prior to sale. When we contacted DCH Honda to discuss the situation, we were disappointed with the response. One sales manager(Randy) suggested rudely that we contact an attorney. Another offered to have us tow the vehicle back to New Jersey to be inspected and potentially re-appraised toward a trade-in. Given that the vehicle is currently unsafe to drive and worth less than the cost to tow it back from Virginia, this was not a realistic solution for us. We also left four voicemails and sent an email to the General Manager of DCH Honda Paramus and did not receive a response. We understand that vehicles sold “as is” may limit certain warranty protections; however, we are currently reviewing our consumer rights regarding representations made at the time of sale. Based on our experience, we are extremely disappointed with both the condition of the vehicle and the customer service response. We would not feel comfortable purchasing another vehicle from this dealership. We are escalating this matter to DCH corporate, Honda corporate, and the Better Business Bureau, and we are exploring our legal options.
