My 68 Impala SS ws sold to me by Harold Schumacher. My 74 Camaro was sold to me by Ken Schumacher as was the 76 Caprice Wagon as was the 97 Trail blazer. Beginning to see a pattern? Judy and husband Stev have been life long friends. Both the Schumacher and Tilton families are a great part of my life. Good people , good friends. Dennis

I had a very pleasant experience from the moment I spoke...

I had a very pleasant experience from the moment I spoke to Walter on the telephone, until I drove my new truck off of the dealer lot. Everyone, including the owner, Mrs. Schumacher-Tilton, were extremely attentive and honest throughout my car buying experience. The General Sales Manager John also helped me get a fantastic interest rate on for my truck and I couldn't be happier. It's not really common to experience true professionalism, honesty and integrity in the car sales business, but I'm happy to say that I did experience it at Gearheart. I hope God blesses all the Gearheart and Schumacher Chevrolet families with more than they could ever dream and hope for in sales and new customer business. Keep up the great work. Truly, Robin

I purchased a vehicle from Gearhart in the past. I was very pleased with Gary's honesty. I was ready to downsize from a SUV to a car and Gary made it very easy to decide. He helped me in the past so that is why I came back to Gearhart Chevrolet.

I recently purchased my second vehicle from Gearhart and as far as I am concerned it is the only dealership that I will make future purchases from. The sales staff is friendly and professional. The service department always goes the Extra Mile. Everyone at Gearhart makes the experience a positive one and I would highly recommend that anyone looking to purchase a vehicle to make Gearhart their number 1 choice.

At about 40,000 miles my 2009 Chevy Silverado's...

At about 40,000 miles my 2009 Chevy Silverado's transmission went. Luckily it was under warranty so I brought it back to Gearhart Chevy. I informed Gary in the service department that I would need a rental TRUCK as that is what I use for work. Instead, I got a car, a Chevy Cruze. He told me they could not get me a truck. I did however get a GMC Canyon a week or so later since I was so persistent about it with phone calls...still not a full size truck, but whatever. I called a few times checking up on my truck's progress. I was told many times "oh it should be done by this day" but never was. I waited 2 weeks for my truck to get repaired. I did not get a phone call back to say my truck was finished, I called Gary and he just said "Oh yeah, it's all ready". I told Gary I would be there around 3pm and when I showed up I had to wait almost an hour to be written up and on my way. I do have to say that I also got an oil change at this same time which I inquired if it would be free since I waited so long, Gary did make that happen, that was probably the only positive from my experience...but I still had to ask for it as that was not offered to me. After having the truck back for over a week, the transmission is now leaking all over my driveway. I just called Gary today to let him know of this and he told me to bring it right in. I told him that I will no longer be bringing my truck back to Gearhart Chevrolet for repairs since they obviously do not know how to transmission work and who knows what else would go wrong. Overall, terrible experience...I really wish I never bought this truck from Gearhart Chevrolet. I guess live and learn.

Doug Belfondo was a pleasure to work with. He was friendly, helpful and made me feel like "one of the guys". He did not force anything on me. If I showed no interest in a particular option, he did not brow beat me into submission. It's been 10 years since I purchased a new vehicle and I was pleased with the expediency of the entire team. It was quick and painless and an overall nice experience. I love the Volt, I charge at home and at work, so no more hemorrhaging of money being waisted on gas. Kind regards, -LC

Hi, the only minor issue, was that I had some heated...

Hi, the only minor issue, was that I had some heated seats installed after delivery. When I picked the car up after the heated seats were installed, I noticed that there were shavings left on the floor under both the driver and front passenger's seats. I guess no one vaccuumed up the shavings after the heated seats were put in.

Although I had purchased a used Jaguar from Gearhart in...

Although I had purchased a used Jaguar from Gearhart in 1964, I had no need to buy a new vehicle from them since then as my travels never brought me past their door. Since my current car expired on Christmas morning I was literally pushed into a position of buying a replacement. Looking on the web I had a number of quotes come into my mailbox and it was Andy Garcia who persevered and convinced me to come to Gearhart. Once I arrived it was Walter Schwarz and Damon Velasquez who took over the paperwork and delivery process. Both gentlemen were a pleasure to deal with and made the entire process very easy for me. This I might add was performed as furniture was being removed from the facility in preparation for the new building construction. My Equinox in fact was the last vehicle to be delivered from the old building. Coming from a Beemer to a Chevy gave me pause, but I am delighted with my new high tech Chevy and would recommend Gearhart to anyone.
