BEST DEALERSHIP in all Monmouth and Ocean Counties

I moved down ocean county 17 years ago and I've been to at least 8 service shops and when I tell you that I've gotten it over a barrel by everyone of them I'm being nice I won't get into naming the shops but believe you me you won't find a better one then THE FAMILY OWENED AND OPERATED DEALERSHIP THAT ALL OF MONMOUTH AND OCEAN COUNTIES CALL DEFELICE their sales service customer service you name THEY ARE THE BEST you bring your car in for service on a Monday you get it back on the same Monday fixed properly no phone calls during the day saying that they found this that and the other thing that needs to be fixed before you can drive it they fix the problems they don't make up new ones and keep your car for a week while it's being fixed nor do you have to bring it back they fix it correctly the first time and by them I mean Timmy Eddie Jeff Mike Joe like I said THE WHOLE FAMILY doesn't matter who or which one you speak with the outcome is always the same PERFECTION .... I've tried the rest but now I've found the best and if you go anywhere else for service sales whatever your automotive needs are shame on you because you'd be wasting your time and money going anywhere else but DeFelice in Point Pleasant NJ

They sell cars with Bad CARFAX's

I'm not one to write reviews but in this case I had too and I urge anyone not to ever buy a car here. And why is because I was sold a car with a BAD CARFAX,granite I should of asked but I was in need and had no car to get to work so my concern was leaving with a car. They also wouldn't fix my tire pressure issue they sold the car to me with. I though it was just a low tire pressure which is nothing and ended being way more. I went in here in need of a car to get to work as nice as could be and they played it off like they were nice too and completely set me up for failure selling me the car and just taking advantage of me. So if they can be so cruel to someone humble in need of a car imagine what they could do if you have the money or not in need.

Great Buying Experience

Went on a test drive, was able to negotiate a deal and take home the used Scion TC 2010 car that I wanted to purchase. Thanks for being helpful and respectful during the car buying process. Met everyone and paid cash for the car. Would recommend and buy from again!

Great Buying Experience

My overall buying experience with Defelice Auto Sales & Service was a great one. I saw an SUV online that interested me and called to be sure it was still available. Jack Defelice was the person I spoke with. When I arrived, he met me in the parking lot with the SUV ready for a test drive. Jack answered all of my questions and made the purchase of the SUV quick and easy. It turned out that the SUV had some very expensive mechanical issues. So I took it back to the dealership to see what could be done. I was expecting expecting to have to fight with a manager or owner but that didn't happen. I met with Jeff Defelice and Mark Cohen to discuss my options. Instead of being defensive and uncooperative, they worked with me. Mark showed me several SUVs that met my needs and, most importantly, were within my budget. He was patient with me and understanding of the whole situation. I ended up trading in the first SUV for a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe. What a good vehicle! Fun to drive. I had it checked out by my local mechanic who gave it a clean bill of health. He was also surprised that the Santa Fe didn't cost more than I paid for it. Thank you Jack, Mark and Jeff for working with me and making this a positive experience. Defelice Auto is a family run business that treats its customers like family. When I'm ready for my next vehicle, this is the first place I'll look.

Dealer response

Steven. we did received your credit application on Friday Dec 23. 2016. Our special finance person had reached out and left you a message. We apologize that due to the holiday schedule that we were closed for the weekend and not here to try to get in touch again. Today received your review and will reach out to you again. Amazingly Bad

Amazingly bad. Not into doing reviews but after my interaction with Defelice I feel obligated to share my negative experience with other potential customers. Stopped in the dealership to look at a 2003 Yukon Denali that I received information about from Gar Gurus. Was met by a salesperson that I will leave nameless. I test drove the vehicle with the salesperson present. At the conclusion of the test drive we returned to the showroom to further discuss the vehicle. It was late about 745pm. The dealer closes at 8pm and i respect people's schedules. The salesperson asked "what could i do to earn your business?", My response was that i wanted my wife to see the vehicle before I proceeded. Due to the late hour I suggested my wife stop by and see the truck the next day. As I was walking to my car the salesman offered to give me dealer plates for the Yukon, drive it home to let my wife see the vehicle, and return it the next day. I took Defelice on their offer. AS I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP THE SALESMAN STATED $8500. I ASKED "DO I HAVE 24 HOURS?" AND THE SALESMAN RESPONDED "YES". I returned the truck later the same evening, I called the number on the business card to ensure the dealership knew their vehicle had been returned. Next day I receive no follow up phone call from the dealer. I wanted to do the deal so I called the dealership. I asked to speak with my salesman and I was connected. Told the sales guy i wanted the truck. Sales guy places me on hold and someone named Jeff picked up and told me the price of the truck was now $10995. I explained I was quoted a price of $8500 and he said the salesman made a mistake. Jeff the sales manager and Mark Cohen, who described himself as an owner, justified the increase in the quoted price as a mistake that was made by a new guy that was formerly a butcher and lacked sales experience, Not my problem. Mark became so aggravated during our conversation that he yelled to the SURROUNDING associates and I quote "why did you put me in the middle of this", I apologize Mark Cohen for inconveniencing you as an owner. Poor customer service, fraudulent, unethical, rude, bait and switch, lacking transparency, AND poor communication skills all describe Defelice. Ever watched the movie Used Cars? Defelice has brought it to real life. As for the vehicle the Vin# 1GKEK63UX3J185095 is there for you to see for yourself. Check out the peeling paint on the roof and the accident listed on the car fax that Defelice failed to disclose any details about when asked. I see the other reviews and know this worked out for the best. Someone named Jeff is supposed to call me but I doubt I'll hear from that dude.
