Local Subaru Dealer Turns Away Local Veteran-Twice

my 88 year old father is very hard of hearing. His 2017 Outback, purchased at this dealership, has push button start. Twice now, my dad has left his car running in his attached garage, overhead door was down! He went to the dealer to get the volume turned up. This dealer book marked his owners manual, and sent him on his way! He then returned approx 1 month later. He needed to see if his GPS needed updating. Once again, this dealer told him they could not help him. Are you kidding me?? Do you honestly think an 88 year old Veteran could do this? I've even emailed Sdubaru Corporation, with no luck. Apparently, they just give Subaru Dealerships away. This isn't right. If they would do this to an 88 year old Korean War Veteran, they would do it to anyone. My father is Harry Frischenmeyer

bought a car from a distance

Everyone on the staff was great, I bought a car from 500 miles away, Jimmy pointed out and took pictures of small flaws that I wouldn't have noticed to make sure there were no surprises, I was in and out in less than an hour and I was completely happy with the entire process!

PROFESSIONAL

Flew in from SoCal for a special 2015 Camaro Convertible I found on line. My sales rep was Emily. She had everything ready including a detailed car and all paperwork. She made the process easy and stress free. Emily invited me to have a quick lunch while I was there. The dealership puts out a deli sandwich and pizza spread on Saturdays. All in all , a great dealership experience. Thank you Em. If the dealership can make a transaction this easy for an out of state sale, I imagine local sales would be a breeze.

Wonderful Experience

My teenage daughter found the car she wanted. We sent an email, received a phone call, took the car for a test drive, took it to our mechanic to have it checked out, told them we wanted it AND now it is ours. The staff at Subaru of Wichita were all very nice and professional. Thank you!!

KUDOS TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!

I recently bought a new Forester from Subaru of Wichita and was very impressed with every step of the purchase process. However, today their service department went above and beyond! Recently I had a flat tire and had to put the spare put on to get to the dealership. They very quickly repaired the tire, took off the spare and put it back and I was on my way. Once again, I was very impressed! However, in the days following the repair I developed a rattle in the back of the car. I took everything out and attempted to find the rattle with no luck. It kept getting worse so I called the dealership and they said to stop by and they would check it out. I did so today, and they spent 45 minutes trying to find the rattle with no luck. So, the chief mechanic was called to take the car for a drive and see if he could determine the problem. Sure enough, he did! Unbelievably, the rattle was from my husband not putting my new license plate holder on firmly!!! After all the time they had spent on the car they would not take a penny. Just said thanks for coming in and come back soon. WHAT A DEALERSHIP! QUALITY PEOPLE. QUALITY CARS!!

I?m really unhappy with the way Subaru of Wichita treats their service customers. When they had the name Suzuki the service people where great!! Very polite, enjoyed customers, and I loved the way they smiled at everyone! The sales was just the same. I loved it there and that?s why my family buy 3 cars from Suzuki. BUT NOW I would never step in the service dept if I had to pay them. Unfortunately I have a warranty that forces me to go there. A family member has taken the car in 3 times for several different things and EVERY TIME she gets her car back a light or window or something is broken! Of course every time she tells them they say ?THAT WILL COST A DIAGNOSTIC FEE OF $140 TO FIND OUT WHATS WRONG.? What?s wrong? What?s wrong is that every time I bring my car to your service dept I end up with another problem. THE ONLY REASON WHY I TAKE IT TO YOU IS BECAUSE OF THE WARRANTY. i understand about making money but not at the expense of customer service. We had to spend $2700 to fix the car and they had the nerve to tell her ? THE SUBARU CUSTOMERS GET THE LOANER CARS BEFORE ANYONE ELSE? WOW REALLY!!! JUST BECAUSE YOUR NAME CHANGED AND I DON?T HAVE A SUBARU I HAVE TO GO WITHOUT A CAR FOR 2WKS. THIS IS REALLY SAD!!! NEVER WILL GET A CAR FROM THEM EVER!!!! Sign, usetobeloyalcustomer

quick response

In searching they were very helpful with quotes. I requested a quote for a few vehicles and they got back to me by the end of the day. They didn't continue to bulldog me about it afterwards either. Great job.
