3 Day $6700 Failed Transmission Surprise!
Frontline Auto Brokers is a deceitful dealership that will lie about the condition of the cars on the lot and then when you end up with major mechanical issues 3 days later, continue to claim that there was nothing wrong with the car. The owner, Zach Kolanda, is worse than we had hoped but we can't say we are surprised after the terrible way Bob, his manager, treated us. We gave him the benefit of the doubt even though Bob was extremely antagonistic and dishonest. We were told that the 2009 BMW was in perfect mechanical condition and there was nothing wrong with it mechanically but 3 days after we purchased it, it went to the shop in need of a new transmission as the car would not accelerate and the check engine light was on. While they will say the car was in perfect condition, every mechanic we talked to and that looked at our car have said otherwise! Who would you believe, 5 independent mechanics or the owner and the manager who want to shirk their responsibility and laughed at us all the way to the bank? Every mechanic said that the dealership had to know that the transmission was bad and they sold the car anyway! We have been told that a transmission doesn't magically go bad in 3 days and that the car should not have been sold to us. We were led to believe that Frontline had a mechanic look at the BMW. Either they had a mechanic check out the car and they fully knew the transmission was bad and they lied to us about it or they lied to us and sold a car they never bothered to check out but either way what they did to us is bad! Good, honest, decent car dealers will take back a car that has a mechanical failure like a bad transmission in that 3-day window but, of course, Zach and Bob lie and refuse to do anything to help you. The one month $1500 warranty is a joke when you have a bill of $6700 for a new transmission in 3 days! They should have taken the car back, the car they claimed was in perfect condition but wasn't. You don't think they knew this when they didn't want the car back? They owe us $5200 for our portion of the repairfor the "perfect" transmission we had to replace. We have learned that it is very important to go to a reputable new car dealer and avoid these small, used car dealers. Frontline took advantage of us and they don't even care about their reputation, that's how bad they are! Zach thinks the way Bob acted when he told us laughing that "you get what you pay for" is totally fine and he has no problem with it. We did Not get what we paid $9995 for because we didn't get a car that ran for more than 3 days and to say that spending $9995 should get us a car with a bad transmission only goes to prove how Bad Zach and Bob truly are! Save yourself a nightmare and learn from our mistake and Don't buy a car from this shady, dishonest dealer where they sell vehicles with major mechanical issues and laugh as you drive off the lot in a junk car that isn't even remotely worth what you paid! Oh, and don't pay attention to their less than honest advertising about not buying auction cars because they buy cars from CarMax and it's obvious, they are buying mechanically challenged cars and reselling them for a hefty profit! Unless you like flushing your hard earned money down the toilet you would be best served to avoid buying a car from this dishonest and disreputable dealer!

We purchased a 2009 BMW X5 from Frontline Auto Brokers in
We purchased a 2009 BMW X5 from Frontline Auto Brokers in Longmont a week ago. The reason we ended up purchasing a vehicle from Frontline was because we were looking to replace the BMW we lost in an accident several weeks earlier.and they were the closest dealer with the same make and model of vehicle. We specifically asked if the transmission was in good condition and we wanted to know if any work had been done on it or if it needed work. We were told that the transmission was in perfect working condition and it did not require any work. We also asked if there were any other mechanical issues that needed to be addressed and we were led to believe this was not the case. Our decision to purchase the BMW was predicated on the answers in the conversations we had with the salesperson who we trusted to be honest with us. What we were told was not true which we found out 3 days after we purchased the vehicle when the evidence of a bad transmission was glaringly obvious. We could not accelerate after we had to stop and we could barely move even when flooring the accelerator. The check engine light came on and the idling became erratic. We took the BMW to our mechanic and a sensor code came up, so he encouraged us to have the entire vehicle checked out. We called Frontline and told Bob what was going on with the car and explained that the repairs were going to be around $6,000 and he claimed that was excessive. He also claimed that the 1- month warranty would pay for the repair. Well, that too was a lie and he was well aware that the warranty only pays up to $1500 toward any repair which we found out a couple of days later. First, they lied to us so they could make a sale and then they lied again which proves that they are not a reputable dealership. The mechanic checked everything out and found that the vehicle that supposedly had a "perfect" transmission, in fact, has a bad transmission which needs to be replaced along with a sensor and back brake lights that have to be totally replaced since they put in the wrong size light bulbs which ended up melting so the entire light fixtures have to be replaced at an expense of $500. .We paid $9995 for the BMW and the total cost of the repairs it needs is $6700. Our mechanic called the warranty company and explained the problems in detail along with the cost of the repairs and even the warranty company said that Frontline should not have sold a car with these serious problems so they said we should take the car back. Our mechanic reiterated that sentiment since no reputable dealer should sell a car in such bad condition and it is not right for us to suffer financially because of disreputable business practices. We called Frontline as soon as the acceleration problem made it impossible to drive the BMW to explain what was going on with the car we purchased just 3 days earlier and then called again when we received the accurate documentation of the repairs needed and the total cost of those repairs. The last time we talked to Bob he was antagonistic, argumentative and combative. He literally said, "you get what you pay for" as he laughed at our expense. When a customer pays $9995 for a car they should not end up with a car that needs 3/4 of the purchase price in repairs. According to Bob, we didn't spend enough money to expect to get a car in good working order. The "as is" clause does not protect a dealership from fraudulent practices. We were lied to about the condition of the BMW and mocked when we contacted them about the serious mechanical issues that need to be repaired in order to be able to drive the vehicle we just purchased. Bob will not take the BMW back or exchange the BMW for a car that is in good mechanical condition and can be driven. A reputable dealer would have already taken the car back and made it right but Bob has no desire to do what is morally correct. This vehicle should never have been sold and reputable dealers would have sent it to auction rather than put a vehicle with a bad transmission on the lot to be sold to some unsuspecting customer who will surely suffer financially. We would encourage anyone who is thinking of doing business with Frontline Auto Brokers to think twice because they will not treat you right and they will not be honest about the condition of their cars. They have no problem taking advantage of you and selling you junk that will cause you financial hardship when you are forced to pay huge repair bills. This dealership should be investigated for deceptive business practices.

Overpriced vehicle that needs immediate work
Unfortunately I'm almost equally as disappointed in myself as this unethical dealership. For not trusting the multiple bad reviews, as well as my common sense before buying. I just thought I'd take a chance with outrageous gas prices, and the vehicle being a Hybrid. I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata with just over 148,000 miles. Seemed clean and no big cosmetic flaws or damage. And seeming mechanically sound. I thought at the time the asking price of $9995 was fair, being a Hybrid. Even being the base model. After leaving the dealership, I didn't even get home before noticing a chirp in a drive belt pulley or tensioner. As well as the strong smell of coolant. I also had buyers remorse after seeing comparable cars at an equal or lower price, which included dealer handling fees & a thorough prior inspection. Neither of which this dealer offers. Knowing the hassle and frugal / shady practices of their included third party limited warranty, I was apprehensive about the thought of having to deal with that & the potential extra costs. (Especially for a newly purchased car. They wouldn't entertain the sincere request to return the vehicle, although I understand contractually (not their policy.) However, any company with integrity would be a little less dismissive in these circumstances. They did however offer to let me trade the car in, for something different after about a month. Wow! Can I please acquire more debt after becoming grossly upside down in equity? No thanks. Quite belittling. My next move is reluctantly playing the third party warranty game. I'll be cautiously optimistic. Wish me luck! Please beware of these people, and be a smarter consumer than myself.

We purchased a 2012 A4 with a useless warranty from
We purchased a 2012 A4 with a useless warranty from Frontline. When we got home one of the headlights wasn’t working. I called and they repaired it right away. Good on them. We were told everything was in great working order. Well…. I have now spent 1000.00 on oil leaks and another 1000.00 on brakes. The car’s oil light kept coming on even after oil was put in the engine, so I took it to Audi. After another 500.00 in diagnostic charges we found out the car has an oil consumption problem and it will be TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS to fix. The warranty won’t help at all. I was fooled into thinking the gentlemen that work at frontline are great guys. Not the case. BUYER BEWARE. I am planning to report them to the BBB also. Oh and the car wasn’t smogged, so I had to pay for that, too!!

I just purchased a used vehicle from Frontline Auto on...
I just purchased a used vehicle from Frontline Auto on Thursday. I was strongly encouraged to use a Denver residence even though I own a house here, I reside in Montana. The company could’ve changed my registration to Montana so I could save $1600 in state taxes. I shouldn’t have to pay taxes in a state where I don’t live. However, they would not help me. They said they can’t change it. I called a few times and asked politely and they refused to help me even though it doesn’t cost them any money. Just a little time. Just want to give a heads up about Frontline Auto.

Wretched hive of xxxx and villainy
Spent over $6,000 on a car from them and the day after I bought it started to have problems. The following tuesday (it was a holiday weekend) I called them and told them what was happening. Justin told me that it was my fault for buying the car with that many miles. He took no ownership of the problems or had any sympathy for what was going on.
