DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE HERE! DISHONEST! NO SERVICE AND NISSAN DOESN?T EXPECT CARS TO BE RELIABLE! I purchased a car I was under the impression was a certified preowned vehicle here in the spring/summer. A few weeks ago the gear shift stopped working, making the car undrivable and stuck in the ?park? position. I had the car towed. When brought into the dealership to be serviced, I was told it was not covered under the extended warranty I purchased at the point of sale. I asked what they thought was wrong with the vehicle and the rude service secretary told me ?it?s not what we think, it?s what we know?. The Nissan dealership charged me for the half hour they looked at the vehicle while I sat waiting for two hours in the waiting room. They informed me the car needed a new shifter assembly. (so?Nissan parts aren?t built to last and you won?t stand behind them in the least?!) I tried the 1-800-Nissan number and was informed there was nothing they could do, while the car was at one point certified preowned, it never was for me under my name, and the warranty sold to me by the dealership at the point of sale, was actually a third-party warranty. I called the warranty number and was told they simply wouldn?t cover that part. I asked if a mechanic found an alternate reason for the issue could that mechanic make a new claim. They said no, unless myself and the mechanic were 40 miles away or more from the dealership. My reliable mechanic actually took a good look at the vehicle, found the contact points inside the shifter simply needed to be cleaned, did so, and now the car works. The complete lack of service for a vehicle they sold me LESS THAN A YEAR AGO AND WOULD NOT OPERATE, was insane and disgusting. The rude secretary did not in fact know what was wrong with it and I was about to be charged for a whole new shifter assembly the car did not actually need. Left team Nissan on this one. They really don?t expect their cars to last.

Hi Marta. I apologize that you're not satisfied. I do want to point out a couple very important facts. You purchased a 2014 vehicle ( over 9 yrs old ) with almost 84,000 miles on it. Nissan will only allow us to factory certify cars that are less than 6 years old. This car could not be certified and I'm confident that nobody here told you it was factory certified. We provide multiple forms of documentation from the very beginning of the sale process alerting customers that the car they're seeing is a certified pre-owned Nissan. As far as the shifter assembly we probably could have cleaned and lubed it, but that's a temporary fix. A Band-Aid in a sense. If we did that we'd be going through this process with you a few months later when the problem came back because Band-Aids only last for so long. We would prefer to fix it right the first time. I understand it can be frustrating being told that a warranty you purchased doesn't cover certain things but that's how they're structured. No warranty covers everything. Yours covers a ton of components and is certainly worth having. It might not feel like it at this moment but if something catastrophic happens like a transmission failure you'll be happy you were able to secure such strong coverage on an older vehicle. Great Service!
Went to Anchor for a oil change service and was treated tremendously. The staff was extremely friendly, and the extra details of a multi point inspection and car wash was greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend Anchor Auto for all your Nissan needs.

My oil change was fine. I had an issue a months ago about my back up camera not working. Sometimes all I got was a blue screen. They cleaned the contacts and said if it happened again they would change out the camera. Again this time all they did was clean the contacts. Another issue I had was there were no covers on my wiped bolts. They found one which they installed and ordered a second one. I went a couple if days later they installed the cover but charged me $2.57 for it. They were not on when I bought the car and I also have an extended Nissan warranty. It is not the cost but the principle I do not feel like a valued customer.

Excellent Service Department
My husband bought a Frontier here 3 years ago. At the time there was no manual transmission available. He recently purchased a used 2019 Frontier and wanted to have it check out just in case there was anything wrong. The service department went through it and checked just about everything possible. My husband was very happy and also got all of this questions answered in detail. We can't say enough good things about both the original purchase and the service department.
