Well, it took a few days for them to get back to me on a running video of the car. I did leave them an offer for the car, but I didn’t have no response. I’m still interested in the car. I like the car, but I’m having trouble getting financed, I don’t have nothing to put down so it’s a big issue and I asked some questions about the car. I never did get any answers on the car so I left a big spot, maybe I had to put down I get some things person need to put down a lot of money on a car just to get answers. They don’t have information on it but I’m still interested in the car and I like the car just trying to finance OK thank you very much. Appreciate it .

I bought a car from them and it started burning oil at a insane rate, they knew about the problem and didn't tell me and let me buy it. It needs a major work done on it to fix it, that costs almost as much as the car. They are dishonest

How can you go wrong with a Honda?

How can you go wrong with a Honda? Never again. I am a Honda person and am grateful I did not trust the employees at this dealership. I am sad to say the sound that was said to be "normal" ended up causing the engine to knock severely during the test drive. And to think they offered me $500 off the price for an instant sale. In other words, if I did not take it out for a test drive. Buyers beware!

Should have checked the reviews before buying…this entire

Should have checked the reviews before buying…this entire process has been sketchy since the moment I walked in. Took literally hours upon hours upon hours of me sitting in their waiting room to even get an answer on financing. My sales guy just dipped for over an hour, no one knew where he was. I’ve had the car for over a month now, the process is still not complete! They’re impossible to get in contact with, you never hear back! & make sure you check that contract before signing because they lied about the vehicle I was purchasing, put one that was 5 years newer, with an entirely different VIN which was going to raise my payments over $100 more than we had agreed…just sketchy, sketchy, sketchy! Will never recommend this dealership to anyone! Regret buying here!

2012 Toyota Tundra 66,000 mi I found what I thought

2012 Toyota Tundra 66,000 mi I found what I thought was a great deal for a truck online. I live 400 mi away, however was willing to drive for what I perceived as a good deal. I spoke with Ty on the phone and he assured me it was in great condition. He even took photos to show me. I informed him of my long drive in, he insisted the vehicle was in great condition. The frame was rotted with rust, rust penetrated the oil pan plug to the extent that rust was in the oil, even after a fresh oil change. They SPRAY PAINTED OVER THE RUST, which is why it looked so good in photos. The AC did not work. The transmission is leaking at the engine union, differentials are rotted and leaking, wheels out of balance and misaligned. The drive shaft is corroding with rust. Essentially a rust rotted mess. I regret the money and time I wasted driving over 400mi to visit this dealership. They are currently charging the upper end of KBB value for a truck that requires a minimum of $5000 in repairs to make it road worthy. I have had two lengthy conversations with the owner of the business, one over the phone and one over text. I informed him of the condition of the truck and the numerous defects. The truck remains at its listed price on their site. I was adamant that selling this truck to and individual with result in a major loss for the customer. He essentially said it will be their problem if they buy it and to mind my own business. To say the least, this was frustrating. Buyer beware, they lied to me with a smile on their face. Update, the owner of the business offered me money to remove my previous post. I couldn't take it, I loath predators. I'll quote the mechanic who looked at this vehicle for an inspection, "There is rust inside the oil pan, valve cover leaking, engine and transmission plug leaking, front differential seal leaking, transfer case to transmission gasket leaking, rust is eating upper control arm on driver and passenger side, serpentine belt needs to be replaced, low on transmission fluid, ac compressor not working, needs a wheel balance, and alignment. Truck is extremely rusty everywhere. " $5000 estimate for parts and labor.

January 13, 2024, we saw a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L on

January 13, 2024, we saw a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L on Asay Auto’s website, advertised as $10,995 at 140,000+ miles. Worked with Ty, a salesman. Red Flag #1: Wanted to pay cash, said they’d give me a discount if I financed. All dealers get a flat from the institution that finances (around $500 +) the loan, that’s why they encourage this. When asking, Chris, the finance manager, he said it was them ‘honoring the online price’. Red Flag #2: We inquired about inspecting the vehicle, they said “yes, we encourage that.” In order for us to do that, they said we would have to put down a $1,500 deposit, that is non-refundable, told to us by Ty. We then asked if an inspection was done and if anything was wrong, they said no and the inspection passed. We took their word for it. After we purchased the vehicle, Chris confirmed this by saying: “Let’s say you have the vehicle in the shop, getting an inspection done, and we have another customer wanting to look at that same vehicle. We’re out of a potential sale because they can’t look at the vehicle anymore because it’s being inspected. They could have bought it as is, without an inspection, so they’re out of money because of that. Then, if the inspection comes back with things wrong, we’ve lost a sale with you because you won’t want to buy the vehicle anymore. So that $1,500 is to cover any lost sale costs." Really!?!?! Red Flag #3: Ty kept mentioning that they’ve received a lot of calls regarding this vehicle. Sure….you’ve had it since Nov 2023. Red Flag #4: They provided a worksheet that didn’t add up. When involved Chris, he explained that the $1355 discrepancy was just part of the package, a GPS and a covid cleaning. This was not discussed with us as optional, even though it says on the paper that you don’t need to buy it as part of the vehicle. They kept saying it was part of the vehicle package. Even after all this, we decided to take their word for it, and purchase the vehicle as is, no warranties. Nine days after the purchase of the vehicle, our check engine light came on and noticed a puddle of oil in our garage. We took the vehicle to a mechanic the next day (January 23) and upon inspection, they found several things wrong with the vehicle; which included: Catalytic Converter, Leaking Front Spool Valve, right valve cover Gasket and Rear Shocks. This quote came in the following day (January 24) at $4,000. We showed Brock, a salesman, the quote. He asked if we purchased an extended warranty. I told him no, and he said that because we bought the vehicle as is, there was nothing he could do at that moment, but requested a copy of the quote so he could give it to the owner, Richie, and he would have him contact us. We got a second opinion and that came in around $2800, finding the same problems. 3 additional visits with Asay Auto physically has gotten us nowhere. They never follow up. The owner, Richie, finally responded after a 4th physical visit and said, “That’s not what my guy told me. That’s not how they are trained”. We demanded a refund on the covid cleaning and GPS, but the best they could offer me was $500 and for us to sign a good will form, whatever that means. He said he would send that form to us but never did. Asay Auto knowingly sold us a car to our family that knew wouldn't last long without repairs. In talking with our mechanics, they said there is no way Asay Auto didn't know, because it wouldn’t have passed inspections or emissions because of the catalytic converter. We ended up paying $2,800 to get it in working condition. And a new battery. Asay Auto doesn't care about you, especially after the sale. Be very careful about purchasing from them. I get the risk of purchasing a used vehicle, but if a business is selling you a vehicle, you shouldn't have these problems 8 days after you purchase it. DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS AND DO NOT BUY THEIR VEHICLES. They will never follow up with you until you just give up, because that's exactly what they want

I felt like I was taking advantage of and scammed

On this particular day I went to 2 different dealerships before going to this last one ASAY Auto in Lindon. It was the end of the day and I needed a vehicle immediately I was running out of time so they promised to have me driving today!! KC offered to pick me up, which he did! Picked me up just a little too late where the wire transfer happened at 5:02 p.m. on a Friday. KC was trying to get me approved for a loan after I told him I would not be approved. I left the building out of gut instinct and knowing the loan would not be approved. He texted me back 10 minutes later saying I was approved! and come back!..when in fact I was not approved and he lied. Finding out in the mail later of denial. He did everything he could to get me back to the office lying about my approval and picking my daughter and I up much later in the day just to sit me down and have Chris sell me the car that I wanted but wavering all services like a private buy so that I could get the price I can only afford which was all my money. I thought I was getting a great dea!! I have never been to a car dealership in my Life when looking to purchase a vehicle but I just assume you can trust car dealerships rather than private buys. I didn't get to test drive it and just trusted their word that the car was solid and ready to go. The next day and through the week finding all kinds of fluids were leaking. When I got to work we found a large puddle leaking --power steering fluid, oil, windshields washer fluid. A very noticeable puddle. I called to reach the manager for the first week. He finally called me back and offered to "run the car through his shop" for a "discount" and that he would call me back.. it's been 2 weeks, never heard from him. I did not want to write another bad review I was just hoping the manager would maybe do the right thing for overcharging on an obvious issue for this 2007 MDX. I'm constantly filling up with fluids just to get to work and back. Maybe you just won't hear from them ever again once they have your money? With all of these leaks how can they not notice before selling you the car?? What would be the right thing to do in this situation? I'm all ears. I spent close to eight grand I'm not a wealthy person I'm a single parent on section 8 housing I think I should have just got a private buy and been better off with a little more money in my pocket if there were repairs but... Was I wrong for assuming the dealership should be straight up with you about the condition of the vehicle?

Being charged for work under the Tesla Warranty

I have a Full Warranty with Tesla, I have been requesting a Service visit for over 2 weeks now, I had an Appointment Tomorrow, which is a 5 hour drive, Tesla Service that texts with me has messaged me so much it is harassing and bothersome, they have also tried to get me to pay for every thing that should be covered under a Full Warranty. I will NEVER BUY with Tesla again, I will be selling my Model S Long Range and telling everyone how horrible this experience has been. P.S. In the future if some is in one of your nice models and lives 5 hours away, don't try to get him or her to buy a new vehicle and continually increasing the service bill prior to even looking at the car, it is all covered under your warranty. Shameful and is Sad to be acting worse than any other Car Dealer in the Industry.
