My experience with Stevens Creek Kia, was a nightmare

My experience with Stevens Creek Kia, was a nightmare dredged up from used car dealerships of the 1980s. I was looking to purchase a used Chevy Bolt in order to get the $4000 IRS tax rebate. I spoke to Ash on the phone who told me that they had been having nothing but success in submitting the IRS form required to get the rebate. With that in mind, my wife and I drove the hour and 20 minutes from San Francisco and arrived at the dealership for our noon appointment. We were seated at a table in the showroom and left to wait for 20 minutes. Ash's first words to me were hurry up and drive the car, it's a busy day. He then suddenly said he was going with us. He sat in the back seat and did not know the answer to a single question we asked: was the battery replaced in the GM recall? what does the sport button do? can the sport on the headliner be cleaned? the rear tires look worn out--can they be replaced? We returned a waited while a series of different men came and asked us to complete forms, including a credit application, even though we were paying cash (we refused.) They said it was necessary but could not say why. Eventually after 90 minutes of waiting we were shuffled into an office with a guy from 1984 shuffling through a foot-high pile of papers. "God these guys are lazy" he sighed, while signing and stamping papers. We asked if the IRS rebate had been approved, as we had had issues with that at other dealers. He picked up the phone and called someone else and then we were shuffled to a paper-strewn desk with a disheveled unshaven guy who attempted to get the IRS form completed. It got to the end and said "Pending". This is the exact message I had received at other dealers. It was the whole reason I was at this dealership--because they said they had not received this message. Disheveled guy said, Yeah, this has been happening for the last few days. He said, but you ought to buy the car anyway. What have you got to lose? I said, if the IRS rebate doesn't got through, who pays the $4000. He said, Sure as xxxx won't be me! Similarly moronic incompetence continuted and we left without buying a car. If you want to experience a time-warp to the car-dealer culture of the 1980s, I strongly recommend a visit to Stevens Creek Kia. If you want to buy a car and be treated with respect by professionals, don't go near the place.

Just bought a 2020 kia soul GT very nice car and I was so lucky to have such a wonderful sales man he is very kind person and he is one of the few people who will do everything to make you happy very honest person who consistently tells the truth and acts with integrity HIS NAME IS ASH I would highly recommend him for my family and friends not because the great deal for my new car also he spent a good time with my family from the first 5 minutes I felt very comfortable with him Ash is one of the few people you will be very happy to work with him Thank you so much ASH. And me and my family love the new car so much. Even with my poor credit he treated me with respect

Called on black Friday and spoke to the sales person

Called on black Friday and spoke to the sales person “Sam”. I asked him a couple of questions. He said he would give me a call back. Apparently he doesn’t return calls. if this is the way they treat Future customers they shouldn’t Have customers!

This was my first vehicle purchase, and I had been

This was my first vehicle purchase, and I had been dealing with dealers playing markup games, ad-ons, etc. while trying to find an EV I wanted. Steven's Creek had good reviews online and was nearby, so I gave them a shot. I started with Abe K, who setup my test drive and got me started on my purchase, including initial negotiations. While I clearly stated I was not looking or able to walk out the door with a vehicle that day, he did rush me to the finance office. However, when I reiterated I was not ready to close a deal, he and the finance manager immediately backed off and let me put a deposit on the vehicle, as I wanted to take a day to think things over. I came back and worked with Kevin Hong to go back over the numbers of the deal, who was very nice, but felt I would be better off speaking with the GM, Tony Khatib. Tony took time with me to go over every number, explain everything, and even sweetened the deal to make it so I walked out with what I felt was a good purchase. Low-pressure, friendly staff, no games. If I stay in the market for a Kia later, Steven's Creek will be my first stop.

Such a great experience!

Such a great experience! Mark and team were wonderful . Mark helped us out with out beautiful new 2023 Telluride. He was personable, kind, and very knowledgeable about cars. He was not at all pushy and was very easy to work with. If you are looking for a Kia, I highly recommend finding Mark at Stevens Creek Kia, he will take the best care of you. Don't Buy a car from these people

I was trying to purchase a BMW Z4 from.Stevens Kia I put down a 5000 dollar deposit they raised the price on me 2000 and never told me about it until it was time to finalize the purchase. They told me the Body was in. Great shape then when we were about to close they told me it was in the Body shop for a dent in the rear Quarter panel. They Jacked me around for 5 days. Never never Buy a car from these people!!!
