I came into this dealership with questions about a few vws I've been interested in and were greated as soon as I walked in by the most knowledgeable and nice sales man, I have ever experienced In a dealership setting. 5 Star Experience!!!!
Bought a used VW Tiguan and I have to say the entire experience was fantastic! My sales person. John Guanci, was very friendly and knowledgeable and his managers, Marcin and Derek were very easy to work with and gave me a great deal on a great vehicle! The Finance Manager, Danny gave me lots of financing options as well as a great bumper to bumper warranty and the vehicle was delivered spotless! Overall I would give VW of Crystal Lake 6 starts if I could and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car.

WOW! Awesome experience!
We were looking at a pre owned Jetta. From the moment we walked in we were greeted immediately by Mike and taken to a nice workstation. The dealer is the most modern, clean and good looking car dealership we've ever stepped foot in. Feels very Google-esque. They had an awesome selection of new and used cars but we fell in love with our new used 14 jetta! The process was so so easy. They gave us a great price on our trade in and a great deal on the car we bought. The general sales manager Marcin and Derek the new car manager were both super easy to work with and they made us feel comfortable and not pressured the entire time we were there. Finance had all our paperwork promptly and walked us through everything so we left fully educated. Thanks to the entire team at Volkswagen of Crystal Lake!!! I will let all my friends know about you!

Price Good, not total satisfaction/disclosure
Contacted Mikki (very nice helpful) internet sales (live 150 miles away) about a high mileage older model Hybrid. After talking to him multiple times I asked condition of the car before I came to dealership. Cosmetic description was good however, he either did not know as sales rep said or did not disclose there was clearly an issue with transmission is why the price was good. I found this out when I came to drive it. The sales rep (plus used car manager talked to us about what he thought was wrong- starter clutch and cost) did mention the problem before I drove it and worked with price with the used car manager. It was a gamble to buy the car with known transmission may be starter clutch problems. I did buy it knowing I may have to have a 1600 to 2000 dollar repair done. I like the hybrid gas mileage and drives good however unsure yet on the result of the repair that is definitely needed and the cost. Not sure worth the good initial price for the repair issue.

New Dealership location.
Painless process. Rich did a good job with the sale. The vehicle detailing left a little to be desired as there is a tremendous amount of mud/dirt in the wheel wells and under the rockers. I am just a tad disappointed about that. Would have thought the vehicle would have been more completely detailed.
