Since I moved to Buffalo this is my fifth car and the experience was quite unique. I bought a used Passat SEL and I dealt with Greg at this location. He made everything seamlessly easy starting from when we were looking at cars in the lot as I never felt pressured to make a choice, to chooose one car over another, to buy an expensive one over a cheaper one or to buy additional stuff I didn't need. But that's not all, Greg helped me to understand which car better fit what I looked for and answered all my question before, during and after the negotiation was over. On top of that, when I had an issue with the car at night, he made sure to call me in person outside his working hours to explain me how they were going to fix that for me. That makes you feel much more of a person, rather than client. So if you are planning to go there, ask for him, hands down. Overall the buying experience was great and although I had an issue come up with the car, it was dealt with promptly by them.

We were in the process of turning in our 2013 Jetta TDI. We chose Basil as our point of return. We were not certain that we would buy another VW but after visiting the showroom and test driving a new Jetta along with a very helpful and knowledgeable staff we decided that a new Jetta SEL was the best choice. I usually avoid dealerships (for a variety of reasons) but when three warning lights came on the dash of my Rabbit, I figured I'd better bring it to the dealer on the way home from work. I couldn't believe that I could name a time--that day-- and they were able to accommodate me. I was very pleased with the experience. Tony, the service mgr, was very friendly and efficient. The facility was sparkling clean (well, it is new) and I enjoyed a fancy coffee while watching the news. By the time I'd taken my last sip, my car was ready. I will definitely be back, having revised my opinion of dealers, haha.

Bought 2016 golf from Ryan in August. VW is just on a whole different livel than the rest and you have to try their new models if you're going to buy a new car. And writing this review after the fact b/c my mom had snow tires for her cc (in Syracuse) and traded it in for a Tiguan (I don't know why) but had snow tires for the cc so I brought them to basil vw (for my new golf as well as bc I live in buffalo) around 1pm in a seemingly busy December without an appointment and I was out of there by w with some boss snow tires on. Go to Basil VW. Get a car you'll never get bored with, paired with the easiest service you could possibly imagine. Now stop emailing me to write a survey lol you're good I get it.
