Worked Fine
The salesman was a nice guy and knew what he was doing. They happened to have a model with the features we wanted on the lot. We were pleased with the trade-in value of our car. The final price was competitive. The up-selling attempts were not excessive. All in all, the experience was as pleasant as a car-buying experience can be.

My purchase of a Subaru XV Crosstrek 2015.
I have been driving manual Subaru cars for over 50 years. It was a big step to move forward and buy a 2015 automatic Subaru XV Crosstrek. I have had the best possible help and advice from the sales department staff, in particular Christian McFarland who was courteous and pleasant to work with. He offered to help me in the future with any questions I may have. I can recommend him highly. I also had help from Charles Camp with the same good experience. Found the perfect car for me - and it was pleasant and fun
Valley Subaru was my first stop in buying a Forester. I had researched and gotten some online quotes from area dealerships. I narrowed it down to the Outback and Forester, and basically wanted to drive them to decide. I was referred by a friend who works at Colonial to Charles Camp, so I went there first. Bill Yetzer was my salesperson. He was incredibly helpful in answering all questions I had on the different models, packages, options. The test drive was great - Bill made sure I got to drive on different roads, no rush, enough time to see how each car handled. He definitely helped me feel comfortable in my choice, letting me debate myself (for far too long - thanks Bill!) and answering additional questions about the Subaru and the average customer for both models. He was honest and open and wonderful to work with, and he also advised me based on lifestyle and my job. I especially appreciated feeling that Bill was not out for an adversarial hard sell. He took time to listen and I felt he was being honest and not trying to get me to leave with a car that was more than I wanted or could afford. I would not have bought at Valley Subaru had that been the case, but I'm happy that I could buy from Bill and Charles as the process was pleasant, and for the most part fun. The normal stress of spending that kind of money and getting a car that will last for my NEXT ten years was there, and I honestly did not expect to buy the same day I started looking, but it all went smoothly and well. I splurged a little on the warranty, but Kevin Hahne worked with me on that, explain it, as well as giving me a slight discount for purchasing both that and the exterior/interior protectant, and I'm glad I purchased it. The USAA discount and trade-in on my car also helped me afford the Forester. Please extend my thanks to Bill, Charles and Kevin for a great experience and even better car.

A pleasant car shopping/ buying experience
After doing our research in advance, we were in the market for a Subaru Impreza Hatchback. We compared 3 different Subaru dealers and ultimately chose Valley. It was a low-pressure & friendly environment which we SO appreciated. Our Subaru specialist, Patrick H., was top-notch! I give them top stars for every step of the process and we walked away with a beautiful new vehicle at a good price. Patrick was friendly, non-invasive, incredibly knowledgeable about the product, responsive to our needs and was a pleasure to work with.

Very friendly environment.
I discovered Valley Subaru through Truecar when looking to buy a new wrx and can say that I am extremely pleased that I went to them. I dealt with Charles through email and he was extremely receptive and helpful in finding me my new car, went so far as to find the car I wanted that was being shipped from the factory to a different dealership. When I first walked in their building it was just a different environment from any other dealership I've been to, very friendly and welcoming. When it came down to sales time, i worked with Frank Smith, very nice guy and easy to work with. He answered all my questions and provided everything i needed. Even the financial guy Kevin Hahne was friendly and easy to work with in getting an excellent price to fit my budget. In the end i would say i am very satisfied with the experience and would absolutely recommend going there for your car buying needs. I also drove 80 miles and away from several other Subaru dealers and would do it again when i got to buy another car in the future,

Very pleasant experience!
I must say, the atmosphere at Valley Subaru is different from other dealerships I have visited recently, in that I was made to feel that satisfying my needs was a high priority. And, Patrick, Kevin and Charles demonstrated that they are competent professionals who know how to treat potential buyers. There was absolutely no pressure from any of the staff. Respectful, patient and helpful.
Frank Smith was recommended by two friends. He responded to our initial phone call and subsequent emails promptly. We spent four hours at Valley Subaru answering Frank's excellent questions, checking out a few vehicles, and taking a test drive. We appreciate that Frank was courteous and respectful and helpful throughout the process. We went home happy with a new 2015 Forester.
