love my subaru, very satisfied with personnel (sales & service). Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, courteous & go out of their way to accommodate customer's needs. They ask questions & resolve issues to customer stisfaction. I appreciated the 'video' showing work done 'under the hood'" This is not my first subaru from stateline, I have & will continue to recommend this dealership to family & friends (1 family member & 1 friend have actually purchased a subaru from stateline, that should say something positive about the dealership). Keep up the Great Work (Justin, Brian, Steve Chaves & the service department, customers appreciate you...

This is my 3rd Subaru, 2nd from Stateline, and they’ve been good to deal with. I’d recommend them to family and friends.

I have been very happy with my Subaru and believe Subaru builds a great vehicle. However, my experience with this dealership's service department has left me disappointed and questioning whether I will continue to service my vehicle here. The cost of maintenance is significantly higher than what I've experienced with my Toyota Grand Highlander. For comparable scheduled maintenance, I paid approximately $500 for my Toyota, while my recent Subaru service cost around $750. While I understand pricing varies by manufacturer, the difference seems unreasonable. My biggest concern is the lack of transparency around pricing. When I scheduled my appointment online, I also called the service department and specifically requested that a rattling noise in the dashboard be checked. At no point was I informed that there would be a $200 diagnostic charge for this concern. I believe customers should be made aware of these fees upfront so they can make informed decisions before bringing their vehicles in for service. This was especially frustrating because when I purchased the vehicle in 2024, I also purchased an extended warranty. While I understand not every issue may be covered, I expected greater transparency regarding potential charges and what would or would not be covered under the warranty. Another issue is the way recommended maintenance is presented. Customers agree to the service package recommended by the dealership, only to learn later that additional items, such as air filters, are needed at an extra cost. It can feel like the final bill continues to increase beyond the original estimate. Overall, Subaru is an excellent brand and I enjoy the vehicle, but the service experience has not matched the quality of the product. High service costs combined with a lack of upfront communication about pricing make it difficult to feel confident that customers are receiving fair value. Greater transparency and more reasonable pricing would go a long way toward improving the customer experience.

All the staff at Subaru are super polite, friendly and professional. A little more expensive than some of the other places that offer servicing in the area but you do get what you pay for. I would reccomend them.

Overall, the service itself seemed to be completed appropriately, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. I didn’t feel that the staff took the time to explain what was included in the service appointment or discuss what maintenance was needed and why. Better communication about what would be done, what was recommended, and the reasoning behind it would have made the experience much better. The waiting area was comfortable, but I waited for nearly two hours and was unable to get a cup of coffee because the machine was broken. When I asked about it, the responses I received felt dismissive. No one followed up to let customers know whether the machine would be fixed or, if it couldn’t be repaired that day, whether there was another option available. It may seem like a small issue, but after a long wait, it’s part of the overall customer experience. Overall, while I have no concerns about the actual work performed on my vehicle, I think there is significant room for improvement in customer service, communication, and attention to the customer experience.
