Not happy with car. Pictures doesn't look like the car inside. Paint on seats. Car was not clean. Found things broke that wasnt listened

I am sending this letter to voice my feelings about this purchase. My grandson saved $10,000 dollars for almost a year to buy his 1st car. He drove up from Chesterfield, VA to purchase a car off Car Legends lot in Stafford , va over 100 miles. He purchased the car August 25, 2023. Less than 6 months ago. 2009 Honda Accord EX-L Sedan AT with mileage reading 67,417. He has only been able to drive it for 1 months as it had multiple problems. the check engine light came on from the beginning. Car legends sent us to a car repair place here in our area and they could never really find a problem. SO we went to places we found that delt with Honda cars exclusively. He has spent hundreds of dollars for replacement of chips, drive shaft plugs etc just to have to spend $ 900.00 replacing the computer as if that was not enough the car wont drive, it still wont come out of 1st gear. So needless to say it now it needs a new transmission which will cost est. $ 4,000.00 with labor and all if not more. We also spent $ 300.00 for new catalytic converter. He came there in good faith to buy his 1st car with cash and it is sad this car was not worth it. What a disappointment. They were all so nice and made us feel this was a good deal. I understand it was bought as is and they were not liable for any repairs, but at the same time these are major things. We have gone to REAL Honda dealers for diagnostics , cost of that was 100's of dollars and had a them question the mileage, they say it doesn't seem right this car shows 67,417 miles at time of sale but these issues do not happen on Honda's at such low mileage. . I feel sorry for my grandson as he was so excited to save for this car and less than 6 months it has been a nightmare.

Boyfriend bought a truck from them. Was told it had a vibration due to big tires. Ok…well otw home no 4wd (no place there to check it) we fixed it they sent 200 due to it, not half of what it costed to get it fixed. Then they spray painted frame. And then paint started chipping. Ron….no words do not ever deal with him. He’s fake,he just wants your money along with the rest of them. (He says he one of managers). Then take tire off when get home . They UNHOOKED the e break an took all the e breaks stuff is gone off of it. Just a wire. Back to vibration…..tie rods are abt to fall off the truck yea an all the bolts are rusted off.

NOW DAYS , THESE USED CAR DEALERSHIP IS NOT HONEST WITH BUYERS , THEY WILL SALE YOU A GREAT SELL PITCH , IF YOU NEED TO PURCHASE A CAR GO TO REAL BIG DEALERSHIP ,THEY MANY FINANCING AVAILABLE ,THESE PLACES LIKE CAR LEGENDS , SELL YOU A CAR AS IS, IF ANY THING HAPPENS TO CAR , THEY DO NOTHING BUT IGNORE YOU WHEN YOU TRY TO CONTACT THEM , NO RESPECT.

WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO NO ONE MATTER OF FACT I WOULD FILE A COMPLIANT AGAINST CAR LEGEND , SELLING LEMON CARS TO PEOPLE, I PURCHASE 2012 AUDI , MR.RON LEAD ME TO BELIEVE THE CAR ONLY NEED A BATTERY ,CAUSE IT WAS AT THE CLOSING OF BUSINESS I WAS SUPPOSE TO BRING IT BACK TO GET A NEW BATTERY , I LIVE IN NORFOLK VA, THE NIGHT I TRY TO DRIVE CAR HOME , IT NEVER MADE IT , I PURCHASE IT 7-6-21 ,BROKE DOWN THAT SAME NIGHT , NOW OUT OF CAR AND 13,000 OF MONEY I USED TO BUY THIS CAR IN CASH , NOW CAR LEGEND DON'T ANSWER MY CALLS, TOLD ME THEY CANT DO NOTHING FOR ME . PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE , THEY LIE TO YOU TO SALE THE CAR , AND THEN AFTER SALE OF CAR THEY TUNE YOU OUT MY QUESTION IS THE OWNER OF CAR LEGENDS OKAY WITH THIS ACTION , I'M SEEKING LEGAL ACTION

Although I only had phone contact, they seemed attentive and were eager to help me. I had quick responses to any questions that I had.

Good by people didn’t sell me a bad vehicle they were honest people. I was looking for a certain vehicle and the sales associate helped me pick out the correct vehicle for me and family

I buy 2014 ram that truck was broken to many problem they never fixed in 2 moths I drive that truck only two days that dealer is not responsibility

Car Legend followed up on my inquiry of a Honda very quickly. I was unable to schedule a test drive like I originally expected. But their response time was phenomenal.

If you’re looking to make lemonade this place has all the lemons you’ll need...a word of caution to all you buyers who are wooed by the “friendly” approach...it’s all false. A word of advice to every person who are considering purchasing from this “dealership”...please drive to an inspection station when you test drive so that if there is anything out of the ordinary and the car is deemed not road worthy you will have the peace of mind knowing that you would not have to fix or repair it.
