Inquired about a Civic SI - was told there was a 5k

Inquired about a Civic SI - was told there was a 5k markup on these, it wasnt even on the lot yet. Instant upside down predatory tactic, avoid. Seriously, its a Civic guys. After taxes/fees you'd be close to 40k OTD w/o even talking to Finance. Even after telling them I was not interested due to the markup, they asked what I was driving and how I planned on paying... huh?

Derek, We have market adjustments on Civic Si and Type R for one reason. They bring thousands over MSRP at the auction, day one. There are many occasions we waive this. There are also many occasions where brokers call us and try to buy the inventory so they can flip the car at the auction immediately. Our goal is to make sure everyone who interacts with the dealership has a top-notch experience. We're sorry that we didn't meet that goal in this case and we'd love the opportunity to get more details to see if we can turn this situation around for you.

The sales rep that took care of me was so nice and helpful. Trent answered all of my questions and treated my fiancée and I so nicely. Not sure of the person in finance, but he got us a lower rate which helped a ton. The whole process was smooth. Car is beautiful. Dealership itself was perfect. We enjoyed looking around and loved how fast service was.

Great experience.

Great experience. Everything happened smoothly and the car was exactly as described and also beautifully detailed. Everything from airport pickup in Kansas City to showing the car to the necessary paperwork. No surprises. Thanks to Courtney whom I first communicated with to Cory the salesperson and Lucas in finance, and if I left anyone out, everyone I came in contact with was courteous and professional. Very nice facility. Also thanks to Rick my driver who got me to the showroom from the airport.

Trent was an awesome sales person.

Trent was an awesome sales person. The dealership itself was nice and clean, and all of the staff was friendly. The complimentary snacks and beverages were awesome too.

Could not have asked for a better person to work with

Could not have asked for a better person to work with than Michael. A quality person who genuinely wants to help the customer from start to finish. I will recommend Michael and the dealership to all I talk to regarding vehicles and service. Thanks to all the fine people who made our purchase pleasant and the vehicle like new in appearance and operation. Thanks to Sales Manager Dave for his commitment to getting the vehicle appearance to pristine condition. Working with Michael was a privilege, he managed to make my first car-shopping experience way easier than I could’ve anticipated. More importantly, I never have to stress about not having a vehicle that I love and meets all my needs. I can officially say, “I gotta guy”!
