Thanks for the five stars, Phil! We're glad to hear that your visit with us here at Santa Monica Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram was such a positive one. We hope to see you back!

Absolutely Horrible.

Absolutely Horrible...*Long Read* Where do I start? the fact that when you call you are put on hold for 30 minutes or the incompetent "service technicians" that they find on the street and craigslist? I towed my 2020 Charger Hellcat Widebody in about a month ago, the car died on the freeway while driving. I was assigned to the service tech Meesh aka Misu M, I explained to him what had happen prior to the car dying on the highway. He proceeds to email me saying they speculate the car was improperly jumped causing a fuse to blow. I told Misu the car was NEVER jumped not by me, not by the tow guy, no one jumped the car. He proceeds to tell me email after email phone call after phone call the car was improperly jumped by someone even if it wasn't me. Regardless it didn't matter because this dealership kept my car for over a month just to tell me they are understaffed and can't figure out the problem with the car. They also told me their supervisor took a look at the car and he couldn't figure it out. I finally had enough of dealing with Misu as im not about to argue with someone who clearly knows nothing about the very cars he claims to work on. I've owned 4 hellcats, 2 Trackhawks and a Ram TRX I know these platforms inside and out and I would never try to jump any vehicle that dies while driving thats far from normal. Today I had the vehicle towed from this dealership to a shop called Full Blown Performance, within 4 hours of the car being dropped off I get a call your car is ready to go.....this is literally insane. So you tell me Misu and his team of service technicians had the car for a month and couldn't find the problem yet a Performance Hellcat shop found the issue in 4 hours? I wouldn't take a car here to Misu if it was the last shop on the planet. Avoid at all costs...Truly pathetic...the issue had ZERO to due with the car being jumped which it was not.

I told them I was interested in the car posted on your website as well as theirs. When they contacted me, they said they wouldn’t honor the price advertising and then proceeded to tell me it would be $10,000 more. Highly unprofessional. Typical bait and switch.

They never bothered replying to any of my previous emails. Also, I walked in to the dealership back in early 2019 to look at a Dodge Durango RT. They acted like they were doing me a favor, so I left them and went to buy a Volvo XC90 a week later. In general, this dealership will act uninterested in dealing with you. Beats me how they're still in business, or maybe they're just hanging by a thread and being kept afloat by their service department. Let's face it, they still have several 2020 Jeeps in stock. That says a lot.....

Stay away!!!!

Sold me a Jeep that had the check engine light on the way home. Come to find out they didn’t even do an oil change. And blamed me for not getting a warranty… of course this place doesn’t care. I wouldn’t even get it serviced here.

Stay away from Rhett Butler.

I never leave bad reviews but my experience with this dealer was literally the worst in 25 years of buying cars. Rhett Butler is quite possibly the rudest and most unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered. If you value being treated with even a shred of respect, I would stay far away from this place.

Highly recommend this dealer!

I have looked for a car online for a few months and I found this dealership that was about an hour away from my house. They had the color car with the options that I wanted advertised at a great price that seemed to low to be true. I took a chance and drove all the way out there and the price that was advertised was the actual price of the vehicle. Needless to say I ended up buying it and I am happy I made the drive!

Thank you for your confidence in Santa Monica Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and for your business. We are thankful to have you as a customer and are happy you made the trip to us!

RHETT BUTLER IS THE WORST

First let me say I never leave bad reviews. This is incredible rare for me however based on the customer services I received today I felt it was necessary. Hopefully someone higher up reads this. I called the dealership and asked to speak to a manager and was put on the phone with a gentleman named Rhett Butler.... I told him I was interested in coming in to buy a four door Wrangler and do what is known in the industry as a "Lay Down" deal. Meaning minimal negotiating back and forth to keep it clean and simple to save all parties time. The managers tone was grumpy, condescending and aggressive the second he answered the phone... He told me he would need a VIN number of the car I wanted. When I told him I was not sure which one I wanted asked if I could see options he didn't seem interesting in having further dialogue. When I then asked if perhaps it would be better if I spoke to someone else, he said don't bother, I won't sell you a car a hung up the phone up... Funny considering I was ready to pay list price if I was shown options. Incredibly negative individual and a poor reflection of Jeep. Perhaps Rhett was having a bad day however as someone who does sales too, I was shocked by his behavior.... The last thing you want as a dealership is to loose sales based upon employee behavior.

Avoid this place !

Do Not Go Here. Over all, they put on a good show to get you to buy. I gave 3 stars fro "Customer Service" because you'll feel serviced. Sales guy was a bit pushy, but I knew what I wanted anyway. DO NOT go here for repairs. I tried to talk to the general manager and was blown off. They did the repairs wrong and had to take it to another dealer to correct it. Read the reviews like I should have. Save yourself.
