The buying process at Riverside Subaru was very well appreciated and not stressful at all. I never felt as though the sales rep was pressuring me to buy,... instead he provided information with detailed and technical answers to all the questions I had about the vehicle. Ivan, the sales consultant, had a stupendous amount of product knowledge about the Subaru Ascent that I test drove. He even mentioned other competitor's trims/prices (which were competitive) that were in the area. When someone provides that information it tells me that they are confident in their product because the price is not always the tell all/end all. He is a true professional of his craft and it showed with how well he spoke of the brand and the vehicle specifically. He showed us all the features and walked us through some of the components. If Riverside Subaru is Nazareth, then Ivan is their Jesus ... a true water walker when it comes to Subaru knowledge, professionalism and customer service. He was even nice enough to lend his plug adapter for our daughter's iPad, which was running low on battery while we waited for finance. If you go to Riverside Subaru in New Bern, NC ask for Ivan ... he will not disappoint. ** I must make this separate annotation about the finance department, because that was a disappointment. In general, the finance is never the smoothest, however, I do not think that it should take almost a full month to pay-off a trade-in and receive my registration. I bought my car on March 21 and I finally received my registration on April 17 ... the longest I have ever waited for my registration. My trade-in was also finally paid off during that week. I truly think their finance department needs to understand that they are an important part of the "sales and retention" process in order for the dealership to continue conducting business. Their due diligence is a factor when it comes to customer satisfaction, which ultimately leads into customer retention. They should take their jobs a little more seriously and with a little more pride to better support the efforts of the sales consultants and the overall process of the dealership.**

Riverdale Subaru is the only place we have servicing done for our Forester. Everything is top quality, and we never feel ripped off as far as what servicing... needs to be done. When we purchased the vehicle, there was no high pressure sales techniques which tend(s) to turn us off and we have walked out of car dealerships in the past when we feel our intelligence has been insulted. (Alan is highly recommended in the sales department.) We plan to make another purchase when the economy calms down.

Great Dealership the sales person was polite an knew his Subaru's. I got to talk to Bill the GM? he was great after i purchased my Accent explaining... come back if I needed anything. I came back to get my car serviced again checked in an went to the front to speak to Him. Told him what a great car as this was my first Subaru loved the gas miles. They were holding a benifit for the animal shelter an he explained what the dealership was doing.

Brought my 2017 Forester in to my Subaru dealer for a passenger air bag recall repair, a driver seat heater repair, and an oil change. The good news is... the oil change went fine.... The not so good news is that has been over a month ago now and I am still waiting for the dealer to obtain the parts to repair the passenger air bag issue and the driver seat heater. Subaru advises NOT to use the passenger seat until this repair is completed. OK great, now either my wife or I are advised to ride in the back seat when we go out......
