When the “free” 18 point inspection was performed, your

When the “free” 18 point inspection was performed, your technician did not reinstall the air filter correctly. The outer gasket was doubled over. Fortunately I decided to replace the air filter and change the oil the next day. So no consequence. Also broke two of the push grommets that hold the fresh air intake down to the radiator support in an attempt to replace the air filter hold down clamp.

I called the service dept to make an appt to get a recall

I called the service dept to make an appt to get a recall on my car fixed. The first person I talked to said the part was not available yet so I asked to speak to someone who could give me more information as I had received a letter saying the recalled parts were in stock. When I found out that the parts were available, I made an appt to get my car fixed. When I arrived at the dealership, I was informed that in order to fix my car I could only have 1/4 tank of gas or less - since the part needing to be replaced was the fuel pump! I had almost a full tank of gas, so I now have to reschedule my appt when my gas tank gets down to 1/4 or less. My complaint: Why was I not informed of this stipulation by the service dept when I made my appt?? Not everyone knows these things and should be told so an appt is not a waste of time for all concerned. I just hope when I finally get my gas tank down to 1/4 or less, the part is still available. I got the first recall notice in Feb 2024 and have been waiting for the dealerships to get the parts in for almost a year now. I’m just not a very happy customer right now.

I’ve bought or leased the last 4 cars I’ve purchased at Tower Honda Longview. I will not be purchasing anything else from this dealership. The sales team has always been nice to work with but the service dept has the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced.
