Worst Customer Service
My very first impression with this dealership was AWFUL. First off, I left a voicemail to schedule my recall to be fixed. I waited for TWO WEEKS and no one ever called me. I called back and got someone immediately. We scheduled my appointment for 11am. I was told that the repair would take 6-8 hours so I planned ahead to leave my car for the day and pick it up the next morning. The day before my appointment I called to see if I could drop it off early. The lady informed me that was fine. The day of my appointment I went in and I was letting the guy know that I had an appointment to fix my recall and that I was dropping it off. He didn’t speak to me, got up and told me he was getting information off my car. Came back in, still didn’t speak to me. Asked if I had time to wait that the inspection would only take about 30 minutes and I could have my car back... WHAT? I said no, husband is here to pick me up, I was told it was a 6-8 hour fix. He informed me that no, it’s just an inspection to see if I needed the recall fixed and that they would have to order the part and I would have to bring it back it.. I just told him that I didn’t have time that it worked better for me to pick it up in the morning. Very rude this entire time, he finally gives me a paper and tells me he needs my signature. Then tells me they would call me when I could pick my car up. The next morning at 10am my husband called them to see if my car was fixed. No one would answer for over an hour. The voicemail box was full. Finally after 11am he finally got in touch with someone that told him the part to my car had arrived that morning and that they had just fixed my car. (A recall that I was told was a 6-8 hr fix was fixed in less than a couple of hours) He also informed us that I needed new brake pads and that my rotors couldn’t be resurfaced so I needed new ones and it was gonna cost me $580 if I wanted them to go ahead and do that. We declined. I got to the dealership and there was a lady in front of me. The same guy I had dealt with previous said very rudely ‘We’ll be right with you.’ I waited patiently. The lady in front was finished and the guy never even looked at me. Grabbed my paperwork, got my signature, took me to my car without even a word and then just said “here you go.” I get in my car and I’m looking at my receipt of what the dealership did and I look down at the portion that says I need brake pads and my rotors resurfaced. The man just told my husband over the phone that my rotors couldn’t be resurfaced yet it’s on my receipt stating that’s exactly what they would have done if I wanted to pay their ridiculous price. The absolute WORST customer service I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. I guess because it was a recall and that I wasn’t paying for their services they didn't care if they were nice to me. I get in my car and 3 or 4 new service lights are now on and my push start is blinking red and my car didn’t want to start. I was pissed. Slammed on my brakes and my car started. NONE of that was going on before I got my car ‘fixed’ by them. This is one place that I will NEVER purchase a car from, nor will I refer anyone to shop with them. I’d rather go to Oxmoor Mazda anyway.

Great People, Great Service
Neil Huffman Subaru beat the offer of another dealership and provided better service. Leilani specifically was very helpful, as was Jerry, the finance manager. If I have the opportunity to buy another car from them, I will.

Love the car, but a terrible experience
The dealership itself was nice and I got a great deal on the vehicle I purchased, but my experience was below average and has only continued to get worse. While working out the car deal, the associate (Tyler A.) I was working with was visibly angry at any efforts to negotiate price. I understand that dealerships are there to make money, but as a customer, it is also my responsibility to negotiate and facilitate a deal that works best for me. Negotiating trade in value was like pulling teeth. I also noticed while test driving that the vehicle's tires were not balanced and this concern was completely ignored when I brought it up. I tried to bring it up a second time and was treated like asking the dealership to handle re-balancing the vehicle would be mission impossible. The aftermath: After a few weeks of not receiving any of the paperwork I was told I would receive in the mail, I decided to go through the papers they provided only to realize the dealership put the wrong address on all of my paperwork. I reached out to the dealership to inform them of this and was told I should still receive everything because "your name is on it" which was obviously not the case. I had to make countless phone calls to the bank to sort out my payments and get my address updated. I also had to reach out to the dealership on numerous occasions, only to not hear from anyone. When I finally heard back from an associate (Tyler), they clearly did not care and did not actually read the email or address the concerns I had. This then caused me to have to send another email asking the same questions yet again. If I did get a response, it was cold and careless. When I received my title and registration in the mail, there was a sticky note attached to it with a reminder about property taxes due. Seeing as this would be a strange way to inform a customer they still owed taxes, I reached out to the sales associate (Tyler) to confirm that I did in fact still owe these taxes. I appreciated the quick reply (the last email took 10 days and a second email to get a response), but I did not enjoy being treated as though I was incompetent. Given everything about this entire process had been a confusing mess, I just wanted to be very certain about what was left of my responsibilities. Again, love the car but terrible service.

Best in the business
Amazing caring team who makes sure they fit every need of yours not just the fact they want to make a sale. They are truly there for you not what can you do for them.

Hi Amber, thanks for this awesome review. Team Huffman has always prided ourselves on the fact that we strive to do what's best for our customers--- so we are so glad that's what you found to be the case! Come back and see us :)
Very poor
We purchased a 2016 Buick enclave. Within a week, the battery was dead and the car had a significant stutter when accelerating. Neil Huffman did pay for that repair, but it was a complete hassle. Within two months the rear windshield leaked significantly. The response when I emailed them about the 90 day warranty was that that it only covers the powertrain. They suggested I take it to a glass dealership! That is the first and last time my family will ever shop at Neil Huffman. We were totally ripped off.

I wished I'd done my homework first.
Do your homework first. I'm 60 I've purchased many used cars however this was I nightmare. The push you off on someone else who has no clue how to handle the situation. Bought a 2014 Buick encore. It ran fine up to about 30 miles. It began knocking from underneath then came the bouncy ride . Could barely control it over 40mph. Took it back after paying almost 10 thousand dollars in cash. They wanted me to pick out another car from the lot I said I never even got to drive this one for a day and you want me to pick another xxx. Never will I recommend this lot or any Huffman lot to anyone. Tyler Allison was the sales person. He is so phony its laughable. No idea how to treat a customer. All he kept saying was dont forget the money. So sad that car dealerships get such a bad rap over one bad deal and a bad sales person.
