We take accusations of this nature very seriously and want to clarify the facts of this interaction. The customer contacted us from out of state inquiring about a vehicle he was considering purchasing without seeing it in person. During that call, we fully disclosed all known information about the vehicle, including its condition, as we do with every customer regardless of location. After being informed that the vehicle was priced according to its condition, the customer became increasingly belligerent and stated that we did not want to sell him the car. At that point, he began making accusations of racism. It is important to note that during a phone conversation, we do not know who is on the other line, nor do we conduct business based on race, ethnicity, or background. The customer was advised that our business and the surrounding community are made up of individuals from many different races and ethnicities, and that we do not tolerate or appreciate abusive language or unfounded accusations. Despite this, he later called back and stated that he worked with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which was irrelevant to the transaction and did not change our position. I believe he was trying using that as a threat which is absolutely unacceptable. Our dealership treats every customer with respect and fairness. We stand by transparent communication, honest pricing, and equal treatment for all. We categorically reject the accusations made in this review especially from an individual who repeatedly yelled and cursed at staff and then called back to make a threat against us.
I’m rewriting this one last time because what’s happened here isn’t a single problem or a simple misunderstanding. It’s a pattern — a stack of issues tall enough to cast a shadow over the whole place. And people deserve the full story, not fragments. When I bought my 2013 Audi Q5, it seemed like a decent deal. The car ran well for what it was, a few cosmetic issues here and there, nothing that scared me. I even brought it back for a water pump replacement — an $800 repair — because I trusted they were diagnosing things honestly. That repair is the only remaining balance on the vehicle. Then the bottom fell out. The car developed a catastrophic oil leak. Not a drip. Not a seep. Oil spraying across the passenger side of the engine bay — coating the turbo, hoses, wiring, everything. Anyone who’s ever opened a hood knows the difference between a tiny gasket seep and a pressurized oil line failure. This was the latter. No question. But instead of acknowledging the obvious, I was told it was the timing chain cover — a six-hour job at $150 an hour — and I had to pay upfront before they’d even touch it. The problem? A timing chain cover doesn’t blast oil sideways like a fire hose. A pressurized oil line does. The diagnosis didn’t match the physical evidence. At all. Then there’s the internal situation, which honestly ended up being just as bad as the mechanical mess. Crystal spent days insisting that the rude, condescending text messages I received were from Anna. She blamed Anna directly. She said she wasn’t the one communicating with me. She made me feel like I was being mistreated by someone else entirely. Except none of it was true. Just yesterday, Crystal finally admitted — in tears — that she was the one sending those messages the whole time. Not Anna. Her. She let me believe another employee was responsible for behavior that was hers, and she only told the truth when the lie couldn’t stand anymore. I forgave her in the moment. I tried to let it go. But then today, after all of that, they hit me with the inflated diagnosis and the upfront payment demand for a repair that clearly wasn’t what the car needed. At that point, the trust that was already cracked didn’t just break — it vaporized. And all of this is happening in a year where everything in my life has already been unstable. I’m a federally funded social worker, and 2025 has been brutal. I’ve had three jobs disappear because federal funding dried up. I’m juggling financial strain, stress, and the basic need to keep a car running so I can work. The last thing I needed was dishonesty stacked on top of mechanical problems I’m already struggling to afford. Put it all together: • One internal lie that pulled an innocent employee into the fallout • Hostile communication I was misled about • An $800 water pump repair already paid • A catastrophic oil leak misdiagnosed as a six-hour job • A demand for upfront payment that boxed me into a corner • A repair explanation that made no mechanical sense • And thousands of dollars burned in the process That’s not bad luck. That’s not “part of owning a used car.” That’s a systemic trust failure. I can’t recommend this place anymore. Not after the full picture. Not after the pattern. Not after the dishonesty. And frankly, if you already bought a car from here, you should keep a very close eye on how any future repairs or issues are handled. The mechanical problems are one thing. The integrity issues are another — and those are far worse

I had a great experience at Austinite Auto Sales! Sam was incredibly helpful, patient, and honest throughout the entire process. He made sure I found a reliable used car that fit both my needs and my budget. There was no pressure at all—just genuine customer service. I really appreciated how smooth and straightforward everything was. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the market for a used car!

We were referred to Austinite Auto Sales by a family friend who had a great experience. After being in an accident, we needed another vehicle and found a Mercedes GL that fit our needs. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and never pushy. We were also given the opportunity to have a mechanic checked the vehicle on site before purchase which gave us peace of mind. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend checking them out!
