Like others experience this is a total bait and switch. Dropped offer over 4K after great inspection. Said things like they will need to replace the tires (less than 20K on them, Car has minor scratches, etc.. Yeah there are a few small blemishes as most cars with 57K would have, but interior is perfect. Unless you are trading in a Tesla or another high demand vehicle, I wouldn't waste your time. The experience felt just like being at an old school dealer. Defeats the whole purpose of the "Online Experience"

Scam! Bait and Switch...CarBuyerUSA made me an offer for my newer Truck (only has 233 miles). They sent out an inspector, who stated the vehicle was flawless, basically a new vehicle. Then I received a call from the buying manager/funding team and they offered me $5,800 less that the original offer. When I questioned why and asked about the inspection I was told the inspection was all positive but that based on market condition he would not change the now lower offer. This all transpired over a 24 hour period, the original higher offer was only used to start the discussion and agree to let someone come inspect the vehicle, then they commenced to try to beat me down on a lower price.

My car buying experience has been the absolute definition of insanity and oddly enough, an online car purchasing company provided me some much needed peace of mind when selling my car. Each of them excelled in every aspect of their role within the company which resulted in a smooth, transparent and informative transaction. It seems long, but factor in the holiday and a Carfax discrepancy caused by the adept data entry of oily technicians from Valvoline, nine days seems pretty good to me. You take the equivalent of seven rolls of film, getting every square inch of your vehicle and upload them using an intuitive yet plodding secure link. After restarting my phone, it was nice to see the 15 photos I uploaded had been saved and it was like I never threw my phone in the first place. The pictures are then scrutinized by dozens of highly specialized car people; I'm thinking in a room not unlike an Intel semiconductor clean area, without the suits and gloves, of course. The pictures are probably run through an algorithm then checked by a human or two then passed back to the sales team, Hal in my case. I don't know if I need to get much more into its process but I was completely put at ease by it and it's all because of Hal, Adam and Jessica. Not a silly algorithm that may or may not exist.

They send someone out who doesnt know anything about cars to do the inspection. My quote went from a $12000 offer to a $7000 because of an exhaust leak. This place is a joke.

I was afraid to mess with this company reading so many negative and suspicious reviews about bait and switch and scam. But the deal went thru quick and easy and exactly for the price they quoted me in the beginning . Even after inspector came he checked the car (took him 10 min- he didn’t even took it for a spin). Same day they emailed me purchase agreement and I mailed them title and paperwork). Next day I received money via bank transfer. Now I will be dealing with them again because caravana and carmax offered me much less for the van I sold to car buyer USA. If you planning to sell your car go ahead and sell them. They are legit!!!

Sold my Tesla through Car Buyer USA. Great price and no issues. I was nervous selling an expensive vehicle through an online service. Brian was very open on the process and what to expect and when.
