I’m a resident of Houston, TX, and I recently purchased a BRAND NEW 2024 Denali Truck from Legacy GMC in Slidell, Louisiana. Although the initial purchasing experience went smoothly, it has now been tarnished by an issue related to pre-existing damages on the vehicle. The rear bumper on the driver side is damaged, and I have proof from a picture taken by the dealership showing that the damage occurred BEFORE I took ownership of the vehicle and drove it off the lot. However, the General Manager of Legacy GMC, Damien Dudenheffer, is refusing any responsibility. The GM has made it clear that because I signed a document stating the vehicle was damage-free (after a 5-hour drive from Houston), the issue is now my problem. Despite providing proof to the General Manager, he remains unyielding and dismissive. His attitude has been unreasonable, and he expects me to accept the brand new truck in its current “as is” condition.

Respectful, courteous, no games, informative - easiest purchase of a vehicle. I made an appointment, the vehicle was waiting for me, they explained all the vehicle features/options and then went to finance - was out of there in less than an hour. Everyone was polite, courteous, and extremely helpful. I was going to pick up the vehicle the next day and they offered to deliver it to my home - incredible.
