Experience was fine until it came to negotiation time.
Initially working with Sybil was fine. We were in contact for a couple of months off and on while i was looking for a trade. However, i do not appreciate the sales tactics used by Brian Merz. I told him numerous times he did not need to know my payoff on my trade in nor did he need to know what i wanted in a monthly payment as i had financing with the same bank where i had my current loan. I realized during negotiation that he had to have called my bank for my pay off amount because he knew the amount and low balled me on my Titan trade by offering me that amount. He also INSISTED he needed my social security number. Only my insistence asking questions of why he wanted this did i finally find out the little xxxxxxx had run a credit check on me for "my bank"!!! The entire time this was going on my salesperson didnt say a word to him. That isnt the end of it. I paid for a temp tag which i didnt need as i can transfer my plates, i only recieved one set of keys when i was lead to believe there were two sets. The only reason i went through with the deal is because i did, in the end, get a good number for my trade. I dont think i can recommend this dealership. Others may disagree but they wanted my review.

First of all, the guys in the service dept are very friendly and helpful! Especially Brian, he has gone above and beyond to help me at times. But sadly the actual work I’ve had done on my vehicle has been patchy. I drive a GMC, but purchased it from Nissan. They encouraged me to buy their VIP service package when I purchased the vehicle and convenienced me that the technicians would be able to work on the GMC just as well as any other vehicle. But each time I take my vehicle there for standard services (oil change, tire rotation) they have forgotten to reset sensors. The oil change indicator, which literally takes 3 seconds to reset, and I have had to figure out how to do it myself. And the sensors that detect the PSI in my tires. This actually caused a scary situation!! My vehicle was telling me that my left rear tire was low. So I went to air it up and the indicator was showing that the PSI was still low, so I aired it up a couple more times...but it was still showing it was low. So I double checked it with my tire pressure gage and it showed that the PSI in the left rear tire was WAY above the recommended limit! Thankfuly it didnt explode! But come to find out it was my right rear tire that was low. But since they didn’t reset the sensors appropriately my vehicle was confused as to which tire was actually low. All of this being said, it now makes me a little concerned that other things could be done inappropriately that I just cant see on the surface. So once my VIP package is up, I feel forced to go elsewhere for service unless this improves.

Another good experience
Happy, again, with the Jefferson City Nissan service department. I need an inspection but procrastinated; called Nissan at end of month and they worked me in. No fee for the inspection; I had some kind of ‘bonus points’ accumulated. Brian consistently gives great customer service.
