The people at the store were great, Alex and Shana were super helpful and friendly. The call center on the other hand made my experience miserable and I will never buy a car from CarMax ever again or recommend anyone due to the call center. The amount of people that would get involved after I already had it handled with the store was unbelievable. I was lied too by them, spent WAY too much time explaining things already handled to them and so much more. If it wasn’t for the people in the store I would have gone elsewhere. But moving forward never again BECAUSE of the call center people. You must incentivize them to the point they will harass you to try and get you to do everything through them. If I wanted to buy a Car though caravana I would have but wanted to have human interaction with the spending $35K on a car. Then once I got the car, had to take it back to get the brakes fixed and now if has a service light on and have to take it back once again. Horrible, horrible experience. If I ran your customer service I would fire all the call center people and hire additional humans in the stores.

I found the car I was interested in online, but at another dealer. I paid the small fee to have it brought to a nearer dealer. I was kept updated as to the expected arrival of the vehicle. The vehicle was as nice as the listing indicated. We took it for a test drive, and were very impressed as to all the items it came with. We bought the car, and were given guidance as to how basic things worked, and were told to call if we had any questions. The staff were all nice, from the salesperson to the business office. We love our truck, and I would not hesitate to buy from Carmax again.

In my opinion the manger did not look professional. He appearance was sloppy, for example, his polo was wrinkled. He then assigned me to a really new employee, but did not provide this new employee with any of the information, I previously provided to the manager. The new employee was well dressed. I felt like I knew more about selling a car than he did. I had previously completed almost everything online. Including my trade in. After I inspected the car, the tires did not look good to me. I said something and the young guy assured me that Car Max's policies do not allow them to sell a car unless it is twice the minimum that is allowed. He did not even go look at the tires. I asked if it was possible to switch the tires from my trade in. The sales man said they do not have the equipment to do that. However, I do think their was a full service garage there. So I believe I was lied to. I had a tire blow out 16 days after I bought the car. The tires were over 5 years old and were cracking. This car should not have been sold to me with these tires.

Extremely impressed with this dealership as they handled us graciously throughout the process despite being fully booked and short staffed. We ended up exchanging before the 10 day policy expired for the same car just one that better fit our budget. They handled the exchange quickly and just wanted to make sure that we found the right car for us. Really appreciate the customer centric approach.

Excellent service from all of the staff at CarMax Milwaukee. I was greeted at the door promptly after walking in and was shown the car I had reserved very quickly. The test drive and purchase processes were smooth and quick. The person in charge of the sale and papers was kind, professional and made the process comfortable as a customer.

I've had problems with my vehicle since day one. Took the vehicle back for a warning, I was given a loaner car. I just got back home and was told to bring back the loaner because I needed to take it to a dealer. They couldn't get me in for a month which is passed the 10 day return policy. I asked for an extension in writing. No answer back. Since then the dealer repaired the warning how ever I now have 2 new warning lights and have another appointment with the dealer in another month from now. I will never purchase another vehicle from carmax again and will discourage people from purchasing a vehicle from carmax as well.
