Gettel Chevrolet Buick GMC of Charlotte County

I was talked into getting a great deal on a 2024 GMC Sierra Denali pick up truck by a salesman at Gettel. I was told there was minimal water intrusion due to a cracked windshield during shipping, so the carpeting had been replaced. When I got home I found rust in the metal below the back seat. When I looked under the front seats there was also rust on the metal there up to about 5 or 6 inches high. I returned the "bargain" truck the next day, in an exchange for a full priced 2025 model. I was supposed to get ONE service call included in the price, which was supposed to include an oil change and tire rotation, within one year of purchase. When I tried to use it there was no phone number provided for the service, and I was steered to filling out a request form on the web site that included extra unwanted and overpriced services required in order to schedule an appointment. It was not optional. I replied to two emails from Gettel, and then made calls twice to the sales dept number, and left messages, which is the only phone number I could find on the website. I received NO replies, but started getting automated emails for scheduling service, and steered to the same upsale crap I had been dealing with. I have twice now requested to be removed from their email list, but they have not responded to these either. I wil NEVER buy anything from any Gettel dealer again. I love the truck but HATE the lack of follow through. I expected better after purchasing a premium product.

Robert was the best salesman. He was very patient and took care of us very well. I wasn’t sure what I was looking for and I ended up getting a 2026 Chevy Equinox. Robert wears wonderful!

Robert Hebein (sales) is the best sales associate I have ever met. He worked diligently to accomplish my mission of purchasing the car I wanted and I even surprised him by selling my pickup as a trade...he never missed a beat and handled all within a couple of hous. Mitchel (Finance) was also a blessing to deal with...honest and explained options and was very efficient. Best Auto Dealership I have experienced because of the excellence of these two men.

So ... I WAS seriously interested in buying 98K 2500HD Denali from this dealership for my son. After some online comms ... I emailed some sales guy named Michael Moore asking would you consider reducing the price with 2k of add-ons to 97K. If so I would buy the truck. This was at 4:38 PM. "If you throw in the hard cover and lighted GMS logo for 97K - we will take it" He texted back at 4:46 PM. "If I was 6'10 I'd be playing for the Boston Celtics (Wink)" ARE you kidding???
